Happy Used Car Buyer I needed to buy a used car and we had deceided on a BMW - I had been shopping the internet trying to find a good deal, and I went into Richmond BMW sp I needed to buy a used car and we had deceided on a BMW - I had been shopping the internet trying to find a good deal, and I went into Richmond BMW specifically to look at a car for my daughter to drive. I ran into Steve Lerner on the lot and he was quite honest with me about the downsides of the car I went there to see. I then inquired about another one that I saw which had apparently just hit the lot. We searched the lot and found it and both realized this seemed like a good one. The car had just come in so he expedited the process of having it checked over and prepped (which included giving me new tires). He even called the former owner on speakerphone to check the details of something on the carfax (the car had just been traded in there a few days earlier). He worked quickly with a sense of urgency, but never seemed to be pushy. It has been 3 months now and we have enjoyed the car - I feel like Steve really wanted to help me get the right car, not just any car. More

Steve is not only a genuinely good person to start with he’s responsive, passionate and well versed in BMW’s line-up (and their history for that matter!). His patience in answering questions and laying out expectations for European Delivery made the entire experience that much easier and more enjoyable (not to mention responding every single time to what seemed to be a million inquiries about where the car was and when redelivery would be!). From Matt Perry who appeared to pull an allocation for an M4 convertible out of thin air during the car’s release month to Thad Flowers who patiently moved delivery dates in Munich around my often shifting travel schedule, it was nothing but a positive experience both here in the US and in Germany. If you have the opportunity to do European Delivery, absolutely do it. If you can manage to do it during Oktoberfest, even better! Just don’t miss out on the chance to work with Steve. I am not one to heap praise upon people, but in this case it is well deserved.
