I reported a problem with the doors re-locking after I unlocked them. The sequence of events leading to the re-locking was very specific and I believed the service advisor had captured what I said, but w unlocked them. So I will live with this problem (a nuisance) for another year. Other than that, this dealer is tops. More

I went to Hendrick BMW in Charleston, SC and met with Tom Heater my Sales Advisor! I knew I wanted a SUV and decided the X7 was the one! Tom Heater was very efficient and showed me 4 different X7s and Tom pointed out a X7 M60i that just arrived at the dealership a few days prior. He offered to let me test drive it and that sealed the deal. Tom actually made my purchase of the BMW X7 M60i and the trade in of my LX 570 very smooth! Good service, questionable advice. I was advised to replace a run flat tire because it had a puncture and a steering wheel because thread on the leather was unraveling. Cost of new tire $475 plus ; cost of steering wheel $ 1025 plus. I was told run flat tires can’t be repaired -untrue except under certain circumstances. It is BMW’s policy not to repair them due to liability. The tire never lost more than a pound of air over the course of a week . The car has under 18 k miles on it. The flat out statement that the tire can’t be repaired is total xx. I got it repaired by a reputable tire company in under 30 minutes for free. I was told that the fraying thread was the result of wear. The car has under 18 k miles on it. My advisor was very pleasant and accommodating and my review is directed at BMW. The service technician recommended the tire replacement and my advisor’s supervisor recommended the replacement steering wheel . I have a case open with BMW of America regarding the steering wheel. Prior to my arrival, I called the dealership to inform them my car was being towed there. I was scheduled to receive a loaner vehicle on Monday but requested the vehicle Friday because my vehicle was expe them my car was being towed there. I was scheduled to receive a loaner vehicle on Monday but requested the vehicle Friday because my vehicle was experiencing issues. Initially, LaPorsha stated a couldn’t receive a same day loaner and a loaner was not available. However, when I arrived and explained the situation, Dustin immediately provided me with a loaner. Dustin provided timely updates regarding the status of my vehicle. He displayed professionalism and was courteous throughout the process. More
