This BMW dealership exceeded our expectations by miles and miles. We were stranded on Christmas Eve with a flat tire in Charleston unable to return home for Christmas. They were open the day after Christmas when most dealerships were closed. The service manager, Jared, reassured us that they would take care of everything quickly. They had our run flat tires in stock and were able to put the new one on the same day getting us back on our way home. Their follow up by both the technician and service associate, Dustin, was impeccable and we will drive from Murrells Inlet when we are in need of any service in the future. Oh they love to upsell you in the service department. At 17,000 miles I was told that I needed new brakes and I declined. Now at 25,000 I need new tires, brakes and front rotors. Yesterday I went in for an oil change and only an oil change (took 2 hours with an appointment made more than 2 weeks ago) and I was charged 10 dollars for cleaning two wind shields and 10 dollars for brake cleaner. I didn't need my wind shields cleaned and I didn't ask for any service that would require brake cleaner. I can never seem to get a loaner even if I make a request over 4 weeks in advance. I got a loaner one time after they failed to make a repair work and the loan officer had an attitude and complained the whole time how they didn't have enough loaners. I bought an extended warranty that just doesn't seem worth it to me. It's cheaper for me to make some repairs by myself than to take it in and lose time out of my day or to have my car down until an appointment time. I never had an issue with rick Hendrick Chevy with the service department or service work and I never had to made an appointment for work. How is it fair to have to make an appointment to have a vehicle not working for 2 to four weeks or more? The sales department and the service department need to have a talk so that customers that buy a vehicle doesn't feel mislead about how loaners and the service department operates. This will be my last BMW with Rick Hendrick. I'll do my own maintenance and repairs to my own car that I am capable of doing. More

I didn’t used to use dealer service, but I’ve recognized that they’ve become much more competitive at Rick Hendricks and have excellent advisors including Jimmy Corder.
