I was serviced by Shannon and she was friendly and helpful. My car was in for a repair and it was seen the next day and that was Saturday. Turnaround was swift and ready Monday AM as promised. X5 towed in Tuesday afternoon, not checked over until late Thursday. Approved required and recommended repairs/service Thursday. Service rep told me work would start Friday, full day's work. Wasn't sure all work would be completed Friday but said would keep in touch and if it looked like it wouldn't be done would look into loaner car. Never heard another word Friday or Saturday. I contacted rep Monday morning to find out status, she said she had to find out. got back to me with another offer for a loaner car, which was of no use to me at this point, since I'd have to drive 30-40 minutes to pick it up, only to turn around and return it when car was done. Said car should be done by the end of the day Monday. Rep texted at 5:17 pm, said car was done and they were there until 6 if I wanted to come pick it up. No way I could get there by 6 that time of day. Why did a one full day job take two full days? your reps need to communicate better and follow up on promises to keep the customer appraised of the status of their vehicle. This is my second experience with Hendrick BMW's service department, both were poor. Love the car, not so much the dealer's service department. More
