I would not recommend buying a car from Rick Hendrick Cherolet. I reached out to them about a car that I told them I really liked. We couldn't make a deal, no problem. A far days later I noticed on cars.com that the price of the car went down to a level that I could make a deal so on cars.com I asked for someone to contact me as I did not remember the folks I spoke to a couple of days earlier. I got a call from a different guy and I told him the details. As we're talking he tells me that it looks like we can't come to a deal and he doesn't want to go back through everything again, yet he called me. THEN, 10 days later they called me asking if I was interested in the car. I told the guy on the phone I was interested in doing business with them because of how everything unfolded. The guy on the phone said he was sorry to hear that and he hoped in the future I would reconsider. I started to answer him and he hung the phone on me. So at first, we can't make a deal. Then they can't help me, then they call me back. No thank you. I'll buy a car from folks who try a little harder the first time. More

I recently purchased a used truck from Rick Hendrick and the initial experience of the transaction was about as expected from a dealer. While I did not find them to be dishonest, they did attempt to inflat the initial experience of the transaction was about as expected from a dealer. While I did not find them to be dishonest, they did attempt to inflate the total deal from what was advertised on their website with their dealer service fee and some tracking device that was supposedly "already installed" (by law, in GA, only government fees such as tax, title, tag and Lemon Law fees may be excluded from advertised vehicle prices). Despite that little hiccup, I found the advertised price to be fair and the sales people were very nice. I also found that finance wasn't too pushy when it came to extras on the deal. Sadly, above is about what is to be expected from most dealers so I would highly recommend being skeptical of any fees on the buy sheet above and beyond the sale price, especially with this dealer. Now that everything is complete and they have transferred the title, here are my thoughts on the overall deal: Rick Hendrick Chevrolet does not earn the $795 dealer service fee they charge on each deal; plain and simple. Buying from a dealership should provide a certain level of service and in Georgia, it's my opinion, that should include the tag application which Rick Hendrick Chevrolet does not perform for you (it is literally one additional form and they already have a signed power of attorney from each buyer for the title transfer). It has been my experience from the many vehicles I've bought over the years that the dealer applies for the tag itself and it gets mailed to you; including from dealerships that charge far less of a "service fee". This is especially an inconvenience to deal with in today's world. I want to be clear, the people I dealt with were fantastic and very very nice. This is more of a failure of management and because of that, it would take one xxxx of a deal for me to buy another vehicle from this dealer or any of the Hendrick Automotive Group dealers; nor would I recommend that any of my friends or family seek a deal from them without extreme skepticism.
