We a My husband and I have been talking about buying a new car for many months and finally decided to take the plunge into car shopping last weekend. We are so happy that we decided to visit Rick Hendrick Chevrolet in Duluth. Our Client Advisor, Aaron Michals, provided better than excellent service. First, he and the staff, generally, went out of their way to make us comfortable at the dealership because we had our 7-month old son with us. Second, he took his time with us and really worked hard to get us the best deal possible (even the guy in Finance -- Vlad -- didn't rush through the final buying part and actually got us a better financing rate than the rate that our bank offered us, which was already really low.) I know the car buying experience is daunting, but I know when we have to buy a SUV to replace our older SUV, we are definitely going back to Aaron and the crew at Rick Hendrick in Duluth. More

Best car buying experience.... period I have been to many dealerships but I must say that here at Rick Hendrick, I have never felt so little pressure to purchase a vehicle. They understan I have been to many dealerships but I must say that here at Rick Hendrick, I have never felt so little pressure to purchase a vehicle. They understand at the end of the day, you are still human and you have other things to pay besides a car note. I highly recommend going for not only purchases but also service because their overall customer service is darn near flawless. I made my purchase with Innocent Eguabor and he was beyond patient with me. More
NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! My car cut off on me less than 30 days after leaving the lot, I set an appointment to have this issue checked. I was told they couldn't find anything. My car cut off on me less than 30 days after leaving the lot, I set an appointment to have this issue checked. I was told they couldn't find anything. Two days later, my tire pressure was reading 27 on one side and 65 on the other, they fixed that and I went home. Once I got home I tried to lock the car but didn't hear the horn that normally accompanies it when I double tap the button. I went to the window and hit the button again, still no alarm. I settled for the normal lock and went to bed. The next morning when I was about to leave for work, I noticed my door wasn't closed all the way and realized that's why the alarm didn't go off, I got in my car and tried to close the door but it wouldn't close. There was a small latch that had locked down that prevent the door from catching. I had to drive to Rick Hendricks holding the car door close (right, some bs). Went BACK to the service center, they took care of the lock ASAP but for some reason...my door wasn't closing as smooth as it was the day before. I asked them to look into it further because they was trying to send me off but it still didn't feel right. They told me to go wait in the waiting room and 5 short minutes later they told me to come out and pointed out that my car (that I had just brought to them the day before) was damaged at the bottom of the door. Now mind you, I only came in to get my door lock fixed. They informed me that I must've hit or run over something and to call my insurance company because it wasn't something that happened there. If Rick Hendricks ultimate goal is customer satisfaction, they have failed me miserably. I will never buy anything else from them. NEVER!!!!!! More

Discrimination Just wanted to say to everyone: buyer beware if you're dealing with Rick Hendrick dealerships! My girlfriend and I are in the process of rebuilding Just wanted to say to everyone: buyer beware if you're dealing with Rick Hendrick dealerships! My girlfriend and I are in the process of rebuilding our credit. We had some car troubles a bit ago and were looking into some options when we were reached out to by Rick Hendrick Chevrolet of Duluth in response. We spoke with the sales and finance people and additionally spent about two full days in the dealership. In the end, we were approved, based on both our incomes, for a vehicle. We signed all kinds of paperwork and left with a car. At that time, we were excited and very pleased with the dealership. However, it's been nothing but a headache since then. We were contacted about a few weeks after purchase and told to come in for a "VIN check", which made us curious since we'd signed one initially. So we checked ourselves - only to find out the the car we had agreed to (and requested even) and been promised by the dealership was NOT in fact the car we had been given. We had been carrying insurance coverage (the car was added to our policy while waiting in the dealership, and using the VIN we had been promised) for a car we didn't own and was, in fact, still on the dealership lot. Had there been any issues or accidents, we would NOT have been covered, and we were under an extreme liability, which was known by the dealership as the insurance card provided had the original VIN on it. We went into the dealership with the understanding that we were doing a VIN check and switching out for the car we had been promised. Instead, we were informed that, no, there was a problem with the financing because my girlfriends income, which is SSDI benefits because she is disabled, could not be counted as HER income because there is a payee that helps her manage her money (which the dealership was aware of from the very first day and is clearly stated on the income verification they used to approve the loan). I was informed that I would either have to have more income (which, thankfully, I was able to show as I had begun a trial work period), find another co-signer, or leave without the car I had been approved for a month before. They, again, approved me for the loan for the same vehicle, I signed all kinds and I left the dealership with the same car. I started having seizures again due to the stress from work and my boss and I decided on an arrangement where my income is on a commission and as needed basis. Now, I have been contacted again by the dealership. I contacted the loan financer listed on my loan paperwork (both sets) and was informed they have absolutely no information on me (even though the original paper work was signed over a month ago and should have been sent along immediately) and I needed to contact the dealership. Now, Mr. Renaldo Robinson has stated that because my income is not steady and weekly it cannot be used and I cannot be financed. He has stated I need to find a co-signer or bring back the car I have now been driving over a month and have been approved for twice. My girlfriend and I were approved for the loan based solely on our disability income, but the dealership decided my girlfriends income isn't hers (but apparently could be used by her payee for a loan, even though the payee is not allowed to use said income). I was approved again and then my work situation changed. Basically, according to Mr. Robinson, should life happen to anyone who purchases a car from them, such as losing a job or changing a job, the individual then has to return said car because they are no longer financially able to afford the car. Despite the fact that there hasn't been a single payment missed. Despite the fact that financing was approved based solely on the guaranteed disability income. I could understand these actions had we missed a payment. Had we not had proof of our income. However, we were not even given a chance to make said payment. I feel like the dealership is trying to take advantage of us because we are disabled and rebuilding our credit. They feel like we don't have any choice but to come up with something and they are trying to either get over on or take advantage of the situation. Thankfully, we have options. We have another vehicle should it come to that. They will not be able to take advantage of us. But I'm concerned by what seems to be unethical practices. I'm concerned they might try to do this to someone else, someone who doesn't have any other options, someone who doesn't know that this is NOT normal business and, quite simply, not okay. I want people to know what's going on there and to avoid this dealership, and they're practices, if you at all can. More
