BUYER BEWARE! My husband spoke to the sales manager, Fletcher, on the phone about a vehicle they had advertised for sale. He asked him if the vehicle was available and if it was on the lot. Fletcher said yes it is. He asked him to verify the price and the he said he was busy and would call my husband back. My husband then said that I would drive there (it’s 1 1/2 hrs away) and look at the vehicle and put a deposit down and purchase it if the price was as advertised. Fletcher said ok. I drove the 1 1/2 hrs and asked for the sales manager, Fletcher, when I arrived. A salesperson came and said that the manager directed him to help me. I showed him the ad and said I was there to see this vehicle. He said ok and asked me to follow him. He took me to his desk and asked me to sit. I told him I wanted to see the truck before we sat down. I again showed him the ad. He continued to try to ask me questions about what I liked about that truck. I told him again that I was only interested in that truck. He said ok and took down the vehicle ID from the ad. He said he would be right back. He was gone a long time and when he came back he told me the truck was sold. I knew that wasn’t true. He tried to get me interested in a truck that was over $10,000 more and 12 weeks out from delivery. I wasn’t interested. He said that those trucks are sold before they even hit the lot. I said so If I give you a deposit can I buy the truck before it even arrived for the price listed or is it just a guarantee to be included in a bidding war? He basically said yes that it would be a bidding war and no I can’t buy it until it arrives. I left very angry. The salesperson called my husband as I was leaving and admitted that the truck was never there. Don’t do business with this company, that is a very deceitful way to do business. More
