We pulled over and called On-Star to find out what the problem was. It was a transmission sensor that stopped functioning properly. On-Star highly suggested we go to the closest Chevy dealer to get it looked at and repaired if needed. They gave us the address to Rick Hendrick Chevy in Buford. Upon arrival we knew that we would be in good hands. The buildings were well maintained and the lot was clean and organized. We pulled up to the Service bay door, I went inside and met Josh. I explained that we were from Kansas (house hunting), headed to Nashville, TN in the morning, and that we had service light come on the dash and On-Star directed us to your facility. Josh was great to work with. He got all the info needed and got the car into the tranny shop right then. We waited less than one hour when he came back and told us we could leave. He explained what was happening, what could happen, and what to do if it started acting up. He told us to get our car to our dealer once we returned home. Josh is the consummate professional, very personable and very knowledgeable of Chevy cars and their workings. We have decided to make Hendrick our dealer of choice when we move back to Georgia. Used Car Shopping I would recommend this dealership to someone looking for a new/used car if a different sales person was available. The experience I had with Ryan was I would recommend this dealership to someone looking for a new/used car if a different sales person was available. The experience I had with Ryan was not a good one. This is supposed to be an exciting time being a first time car buyer. I would not shop at this location again, if I was ever in the market for a new/used car. The vehicle I purchased had just been traded in 2 days before I arrived, and the radio did not work. I knew and understood that while looking at the vehicle. While in the finance office, Certified Pre-Owned was brought up and it was never stated to us before hand that there was an additional charge on top of the sticker price to be certified. As well as the Certified Pre-Owned ordeal, there was another situation with the title for my trade in. I was told it would be about $15-$20 for them to apply for a new title. When I brought my trade in to the dealership and to pay for the title, I was then told the price for the new title was $60. It took the dealership almost 2 weeks after signing my papers for my vehicle to be ready and my radio to get fixed. It was one thing after another to get the radio fixed, and I still didn't have any definite answer on when my car would be ready. On multiple occasions I was told my vehicle was ready or close to being completed, and it was not. I was finally told that it was ready for pickup and upon my arrival, my vehicle was still not completed. I had wasted gas and my time going to Buford. Almost 2 weeks after my papers being signed, I had gotten a phone call stating that my vehicle was completed and ready for pickup, my keys would be up front. Took the dealership almost an hour to locate my keys. Finally spoke with the used car director, Mike, and he resolved any issues I had. He made my experience right again. He also told me not to speak with anyone else if I ever had any issues. Mike is the reason I am rating my experience at a 4. More

recent purchase The initial loaner process was easy and quick when we were interested in a vehicle, but every interaction afterwards seemed unorganized and not custom The initial loaner process was easy and quick when we were interested in a vehicle, but every interaction afterwards seemed unorganized and not customer focused. The negotiation process was disappointing including providing us with an inaccurate figure of what price the dealer would need to receive for the vehicle. Even after agreeing to paying more than originally quoted and scheduling a time to come back in to do the paperwork, I had to wait almost an hour. As I started to leave the dealership out of frustration, only then was I provided with service. I was told they were under-staffed that evening and because I didn't want to wait any longer, they agreed to send the paperwork to me. In hind-sight I wished I had not agreed to this because it only furthered the waiting and became another challenge to nail down an arrival time and I had to text several times and/or call so, again I was waiting. I am not going to complain about any specific employees as I believe it was more of an overall business-flow issue. I have received my title information so the paperwork appears to have all been filed appropriately and I am enjoying my new vehicle, but wanted to take a moment to comment because the car buying process certainly could have been a lot more smooth.
