First of all, I want to say how much I enjoyed working with my salesperson, Phoenix Tuck, this past Saturday. She listened to my long list of things I wanted and didn't want and was able to find a car tha with my salesperson, Phoenix Tuck, this past Saturday. She listened to my long list of things I wanted and didn't want and was able to find a car that worked for me. That is, however, where the good feelings end. The sales manager, Ryan George, promised me that he would help me get my new car to my house as I was with my 14-year-old daughter who can't drive yet. This was BEFORE I signed the paperwork. AFTER I signed the paperwork, he told me he couldn't spare two people off the lot on a Saturday. I'm not sure why it being Saturday would be a surprise to Mr. George as it was Saturday when I got there, so not a good excuse. But, that broken promise was not the worst of it. I came to the dealership having been pre-approved for a car loan through my bank. I told Mr. George I wanted to use my bank- and only my bank-for the car purchase. I told Mr. George that I did NOT want to be shopped around for a different loan. When I pulled up my work email on Monday, I had FOUR different hard inquiries on my credit report. In a matter of two days, my credit score has dropped over 10 points. Now I have to take my time, to go through Experian and try to get the inquires pulled off my credit report. THIS IS NOT OK. Lastly, the finance representative, Claudio Taveras, was very friendly at first. Until I had to turn him down three times for the different extended warranty packages. I understand that he has to offer as a part of his job, and I can even understand him having to offer it twice. But three times is a little much. On top of that, the change in his demeanor after the fact, was head spinning. He went from extremely friendly to getting me out the door as quickly as possible. Even though I love my new car, my next car purchase will probably be through Carvana. More
