Service on the car was fine and I'm likely to return. My concern is over the waiting area Thank you for greatly improving it, yet your staff needs to know how to turn on and clean the coffee machine bef My concern is over the waiting area Thank you for greatly improving it, yet your staff needs to know how to turn on and clean the coffee machine before opening time Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy coffee while waiting and waiting and waiting during a very cold early morning. While I'm sure the dealership's service skills on my car are not impacted much by unavailable coffee, the thought that it might still lingers. I hope the next time I visit the waiting area experience is up and running in full. If not, I'll start going to another dealership. Also, I'm concerned about why I was presented with an estimate of $127 when the service advisor and I both knew the actual cost would be closer to $25-$30. I signed the order anyway, trusting that the cost would come down as he promised - and it did - but it was an awkward moment to be asked to sign an estimate which was way off. More
Not often (or never) do I rate car dealers but I have to say dealing with Hendricks staff at two different locations was a very pleasant experience with a great outcome that needs to be shared. Coming fr say dealing with Hendricks staff at two different locations was a very pleasant experience with a great outcome that needs to be shared. Coming from the northeast, I was searching for a clean Carolinas / Georgia based Pre-owned BMW. Hendricks seemed to have a very good selection of cars at all their locations. Initially I worked with Kevin Vidal in Charleston, S.C. and later Peter Martinez and Taye Royce at the Sandy Springs, GA. location. All three were very supportive in my search and as timing unfolded I ended up purchasing the car, a 2023 BMW 330i from the folks in Sandy Springs. The story should have ended there with me being satisfied, driving home and probably not writing a review. Backing up a bit….During my initial inspection of the car I noticed some damage to one of the wheels, something that I presumed to be a simple case of curb rash, This was discussed but was not a point of negotiation. The rest of the prebuy activity went very well and the deal was closed. Upon arriving home several days later I viewed the wheel rash closer and found evidence of that being caused while under the dealership’s ownership. I won’t go into the details but I presented that info to the staff and within two days Giovanny the Sandy Springs Parts Director had identified a concession that more than satisfied me. NO drama or second guessing at all. I just have to say I truly appreciated the knowledgeable and caring staff, their selection of vehicles and their rectification of my specific issue. In the future, if the need arose, I wouldn’t hesitate to head back down to a Hendricks dealership in my search, especially if they are all like Sandy Springs and Charleston folks. More
