Visited the dealership over the weekend in hopes of finding a Corolla or Camry , to my luck there were preowns that were available! I worked with WILL for quite some hours before finally settling on wh finding a Corolla or Camry , to my luck there were preowns that were available! I worked with WILL for quite some hours before finally settling on which would work better for me financially. He was great! Very personable , knowledgeable of the different features and was easy to discuss my different opinions for each vehicle. I was traveling from Florida to New York with a car that had been driven by my mother until she had her stroke. The vehicle had 21,000 miles on it and is in great condition. The front end started to make a noise and then there were serious vibrations. I brought the car to the dealership here and told them what was happening. At first they seemed friendly but when I asked that this be warranteed they said “No” it’s past it’s time. I said it’s under the mileage and barely past it’s time. They said “no” I asked to speak to the service manager and a man named Steve got on the phone with me and said the service manager would not be in until 9:00 am. But they could start the work and see what they could do. I asked if they could Goodwill it which means they would honor the warranty and Steve said he would have to ask the service manager. An hour later I get a call back saying the service manager said no and that this dealership rarely ever goodwills anything or even help people out apparently. I gave it one more effort and got into the office and asked to speak to the service manager. The service manager comes up to me and says “ Hi I’m Steve what can I do for you” I recognized his voice immediately and said yes I’m the one you spoke with when you claimed not to be the service manager. He said well it was my boss that said no not really me. I think it’s wrong maybe I can get you and employee discount. I said to him at this point I’ll take anything. It’s very important to me that I save as much money as possible. My mother has had a stroke, she’s in long term care and I had to sell her house and belongings to keep up her treatment so every penny counts. He came back and told me that ok I got you the employee discount but that’s the best I can do for you. The bill came and it was 108.00 for parts and 968.00 for labor for a 4 1/2 job. So if that’s a discount I’m perplexed because labor at about 225 an hour is ridiculous. Total plus tax was 1141.00 for a warrenteed part (bearings) that never should wear out after 22,000 miles unless they were defective when they were put on the vehicle DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!. A service manager who lied about being a service manager and a dealership who couldn’t care less about their customers. My mother is a repeat Toyota buyer but I can guarantee you if she could drive again today she would never buy from this dealership. The corporate office has since been called but have yet to here back from them. We have our fingers crossed that they will help us out but if I were you I would not do business with Fayetteville Toyota. They care nothing about their customers, lie and are extremely deceptive and will not honor a warranty or help you out in anyway. . More
Service is quick and the staff is always friendly and caring. Even on a busy Saturday, Rick Hendrick Toyota is able to get my vehicle in and out in minimal time.
