Riser Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT responded

We explained to the customer we believe the Service Writer could have communicated more clearly with him about why it took up to one and a half hours for the maintenance he needed done. When he brought his vehicle in on the morning of Tuesday, January 10, 2012 the technician who was qualified to perform the maintenance needed on his vehicle was finishing up a job from the previous night. Once the technician completed the job he began to work on his vehicle. We explained to him through several private messages why his time clock, radio settings, and trip meter were all reset. The technician had to disconnect the battery, which is proper repair procedure, resulting in the computer being reset on the vehicle. His concern about the air conditioning being turned on in January was due to us checking the air conditioning compressor belt tension to make sure the belt would not squeal while the air conditioning was on. On the date of his appointment we had heavy rain, all day long, which explains why his windshield wipers were turned on. We also test drove the vehicle for quality control on the repair. We are proud to participate in the Dealer Rater Certified Dealer Program and are committed to providing high quality customer service. We have made it clear to the customer through this program we have the opportunity to work with him to resolve any issues he experienced here at our dealership. Unfortunately, after numerous responses we were unable to resolve the issues stated above with the customer. We have expressed that we value his business and apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused.
