A horrifying experience We've been taking our Toyota Highlander for maintenance at Rivera Toyota for years, we never had bad experiences. However, our recent one is catastrop We've been taking our Toyota Highlander for maintenance at Rivera Toyota for years, we never had bad experiences. However, our recent one is catastrophic. My husband took our Toyota Highlander 2007 model for 75,000 miles maintenance check up on 11/5/2016. The next day (11/6/2016) we had to drop our son at a soccer game in Bronx. While we were driving on the high way, the Highlander was on fire and heavy white smoke came from under the hood, the car was dead and we were terrified!! To make a long story short, the car was towed to Rivera Toyota. They have investigated and found out there is a hole in the transmission which caused the oil leak and fire, however, we were told it is not their fault! We have had our car checked every 5000 miles. After a routine maintenance check up, the car was dead the next day. It is just too much coincidence! Our insurance company has involved and we were told the car is totaled. We have personal items and tools in the car. My husband called Rivera Toyota and was told that the insurance company has taken the car. To this day, we are not able to get hold of anyone to get our personal stuff back. Rivera Toyota never called us to apologize nor notify us the car was no longer with them. It's been a NIGHTMARE! More

Excellent Service I brought my 2016 Tacoma Sport in for a 5000 mile maintenance sevice. Everything went well from start to finish.
