Troy was professional about the issue and took care of his customers. Sometime Managers like Steve would like to overlook some issues and hope they would go away and think the customers wouldnt response in a review of their service. I believe Troy handle the sitution correctly. Thank you - you earned my trust again. More
Absolutely. . The worst sales experience I have ever had. In fact the worst sale out of my last 26 purchases in 7 years!I was threatened and strong armed into a lease that I did not want to enter.. The numbe In fact the worst sale out of my last 26 purchases in 7 years!I was threatened and strong armed into a lease that I did not want to enter.. The numbers didn't make sense or add up.. Unfortunately for me Riverton Chevrolet is not required to disclose the total amount they sell a vehicle to you for on a new lease. I traded in my 2010 Infiniti qx56 for a 2013 Tahoe LTZ I believe it stickers for a about 51K which we had verbally agreed to obviously below sticker. I also put about 4k down from the equity on my trade in. The real interesting thing happened just recently however... I decided to trade the Tahoe in on a new car. I obviously had to call for payoff.. I owe $58,115. (Odd it didn't even come close to being worth 51K when I bought it 7 months ago) now I owe 58K as a pay off I put $3700 down and I've paid $5750 in payments.. that's $67,000.. excuse me?? It stickerd at 51k 7 months ago!! I have never been taken advantage of to this extent in my whole life. 2 different dealerships said they had never seen a deal where someone had been and I quote "screwed over that badly." One guy was actually sympathetic. That's Pretty sad. I just want to warn people.. stay away from Riverton Chevrolet and Susie Beucher. We all work so hard for our money. Especially in times where every dollar counts.. When the economy is crashing down around us. I can't speak for everyone but as for myself paying 15k-16k over sticker price isn't exactly chump change. This is going to cost me and effect me for a long time ;-( the only way I can get into a new car right now is to pay the difference in current market value which is 42-44k. That Means With A 58k Payoff DDe I Would Have To Come Up With 16,000 Cash To Get Into A New car. I wish someone at Riverton could explain to me how I got this upside Down when I actually put money down towards the lease from my payoff.. I didn't roll over a balance ..This is 100% because they overcharged and treated me unfairly. I feel like what they did should be considered illegal unlawful fraudulent and criminal! To be completely fair. There is a $1900 early termination fee. Not quite $16,000!.. PLEASE WARN EVERYONE YOU KNOW. SHARE THIS INFO AND HELP ME SPREAD MY STORY.. I figure if my life is ruined for a 3 year lease all I can do is help others. Thanks Riverton Chevrolet I'll never trust a car dealership again. More
They pulled the bait-and-switch on me: after signing sales documents they pretended that we didn’t have an agreement about me turning in my lease. Nevermind that we discussed this and they appraised my sales documents they pretended that we didn’t have an agreement about me turning in my lease. Nevermind that we discussed this and they appraised my leased car… And this was just the cherry. Previously, the salesmen pushed me into the financing office with a deal we didn’t agree to, and the manager either was misinformed or lied to our faces about the tax credit on the Volt. Whatever it was, look elsewhere: top to bottom these people are a bunch of xxxxxxxx. I’ve purchased 4 new cars now and will definitely not be back to any Riverton dealership - worst experience, by far. More
We purchased a vehicle ONE month ago and drove it to California. The car broke down the day we got there. I took it to a GM dealer there and was told it needed $3000 in repairs. I contacted Riverton California. The car broke down the day we got there. I took it to a GM dealer there and was told it needed $3000 in repairs. I contacted Riverton Chevrolet because I felt they were an honest company that would sell me a reliable car that would last far more that a month and would back up their sale. I spoke with 2 different people in Utah- Logan Page and Steve Carter. Both of them told me there was nothing they were willing to do to help with the cost. When we asked for the corporate number to discuss the matter we were told they don't have a number for that! The dealership in California- Coachella Valley GMC was the complete opposite. There, I spoke with Raymond Gamboa- service advisor. He went above and beyond to help us out. He contacted the GM corporation and was able to lower the price of service (and gave us the number if we needed to contact them in the future), he found other repairs that the Utah dealer should have caught before selling us the car. He simply showed that he was sorry for the situation we were in and made us feel like he truly cared about us. We also met Ed Chavez- owner of Coachella Valley GMC. We had paid for the repairs and were headed back to Utah and he still wanted Raymond to look further into our car to see if anything more could be done to help with our cost. I hope this review will help someone avoid the awful experience that we had with Riverton Chevrolet in Sandy, Utah. More
Overall, I felt that I had to qualify myself as a Customer, which seemed unusual. After the test drive of the used vehicle I intended to purchase, I was asked if we could get to a mutually agreeable Customer, which seemed unusual. After the test drive of the used vehicle I intended to purchase, I was asked if we could get to a mutually agreeable price, would I purchase the vehicle that day? That was my intention, but we had to check my credit rating, if I had insurance on the vehicle that I was trading in, copies of my driver's license, etc. I wish I would have gotten a little higher trade-in value for my vehicle, as I've seen the price they are offering it for. I should have done more homework on trade-in value, but overall I am satisfied with my purchase. i found Silverio very professional, thorough, and easy to work with. More

Our decision to purchase a 2014 Impala LTZ from Riverton Chevrolet was based on the friendliness and high level customer service we experienced at this dealership. Prior to this purchase we had completed a Chevrolet was based on the friendliness and high level customer service we experienced at this dealership. Prior to this purchase we had completed a great deal of research on vehicles and had visited several dealerships. Holly Burd, our sales representative was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and patient as she explained and demonstrated the various features of the car we were considering. She also made extra effort to find a vehicle that matched exactly what we were looking for, and it was clear that she enjoyed her job. While this is a major Chevrolet dealership, the setting and the people give it a smaller and more intimate feel than other dealerships we visited. Our overall experience at Riverton Chevrolet was extremely positive and we look forward to working with them again in the future Bill and Kelly Palmer More

We had a wonderful experience with Riverton Chevrolet, more like a blessing. Long story short, we were very much welcomed and approved for a brand new 2013 Chevy Malibu. We took a chance and that was the more like a blessing. Long story short, we were very much welcomed and approved for a brand new 2013 Chevy Malibu. We took a chance and that was the best decision we have ever made. I would highly recommend Adan to anyone; not only did he understand our situation but worked with us, with what we had and what we wanted. All in all, it was a great experience, more than great actually. Steve in The Finance department at Riverton Chevrolet was the best, we saved a lot money and the trade in of our older Malibu was a success. Not only did we get out of a screwed up high interest loan but a better loan with lower interest rate and better reliable vehicle. Did I mention our new car has touch screen, on star, and better safety buttons (child lock button) indeed it is an awesome car. My wife absolutely adores it. Thank you Adan and Steve from the bottom of our heart for helping My little family with our new purchase of a brand new vehicle. I wish you guys many blessings. Thank you thank you. More
