Sales consultant, Jay Murali, was terrific. I called and spoke to Jay about 3 months ago, looking for a new Jeep Patriot, but the actual purchase on hold for a while. I already knew what I wanted when I went to the dealership. We picked up where we left off - completed the sale purchase quickly and effortlessly. LOVE my new vehicle! More
I walked into the dealership, looking at the Jeep Grand Cherokee. After test driving and discussing pricing, I told him I actually liked the Dodge Durango which was in the Show Room better, he then got me Cherokee. After test driving and discussing pricing, I told him I actually liked the Dodge Durango which was in the Show Room better, he then got me pricing on the Durango, we came to a great deal, let me test drive it, and the car was great. They were also going to pay my remianing lease payments on my Nissan Murano. I told him I wanted to sleep on it, for a night, there was no pressure to sign on the spot, and I came back the following day, and told him I would take the car. I called other local dealers to see if they can do better on the price, and I was told they could not beat or even match this deal. One dealer even told me, to call him when the terms change or be careful, when they do not pay my lease off, as promised. I picked up the car the next day in the evening, signed the papers, the terms were exactly as discussed, and John spent almost 1 hour showing me how to use everything in the car, and all the features. The only very minor snag was because it was so late in the day, he could not get the check cut to pay off my lease. This had me a little worried, because of what the other dealer said, however John assured me that the next day he would make sure that the check gets cut. He called me in the morning, and asked for a copy of my lease statement, and agreement from Nissan, which I faxed over. That afternoon John called me and had my check, and the lease termination was slightly more then,I said when we were working on the price, which I figured I would have to pay out of pocket, and they still paid the entire amount, above what was originally agreed upon. John also gave me a free bottle of touch up paint, because I had to wait an extra day, which was very nice, and he also followed up with a phone call a few days later to ask how I was enjoying the car. In Summary, the Durango is excellent, The Sales people and managers, are very knowledgeable and professional, not at all pushy, honest and follow through on what they promise. I always hate leasing cars, because there are dealers, that are dishonest and try and get over on you, however this dealer, I can honestly say was the most pleasant, and stress free, car buying experience I have ever had. He gave me an honest offer, I took it home and countered the next day with my own offer. He never haggled with me, just said I would get a yes or a no. I got a yes! The transaction went through without a hitch and he informed me of added incentives to take advantage of their maintenance programs. I would recommend asking for Don if you chose to write or contact Rockland. The 0% financing was...well, brilliant! More
