Purchased a certified pre owned 2019 Ram pickup on June 11,2022. 233 miles later, check engine light. Active grill shutter. Replaced by warranty. Dropped off on July 18, not ready till August 5th. Then, in November, I notice the carpet under the rear seat is soaked. Couldn't get an appointment till December 13. When I dropped it off, I'm told there will be a $100 deductible. Service calls later that day to tell me it will be $1807.07 to fix. Seems the rear window seal is leaking. I reach out to my salesman to try and get some answers as to why an issue, that is clearly a manufacturer flaw or faulty part, falls on me. It was finally decided that the issue would be covered. Two weeks after dropping it off. Very lackadaisical service department, being I made numerous attempts to find out the status of my truck. I was assured by the service department that my leaking truck would be stored indoors. Which was a lie. Being I visited the dealership to take pictures of my truck parked outside. Infuriating to say the least. After no return calls, I finally got a call back informing me that the service person in charge of my issue was sick, which is why I had not received a call back from them. I was then asked to drop my truck off so the repairs could be done. That was on December 29. I had to tell that person, twice, that my truck had been there since December 13. They too assured me the truck would be stored indoors. And again, it was not. On January 4 I called again. And I received a call that my truck was ready. It seems there is a very big issue with some folks in the service department. I never did get a call from the manager, that I was told I would, to discuss my experience. So, being I received an email to rate the dealership, I decided to take the route. I wish the manager had called. It would have taken a lot less time to speak with him, then to type all this out. More
