10 year old Grand Cherokee still requires dealership service from time to time. Such was the case with a small oil-pan leak which required replacement with a new one. Took a while to get the part but ev service from time to time. Such was the case with a small oil-pan leak which required replacement with a new one. Took a while to get the part but eventually the job got done. While in for that service, I was informed that the Air-Bag light came on, horn would not work, and other steering wheel controls not working. Now I would need to have the steering wheel clockspring assembly module replaced. OUCH. To make matters worse, that particlpar part was on national back-order and I' have to wait weeks or even more than a month for availability. NOT ACCEPTABLE for such a critical component. Fortunately, I was able to locate a Jeep/Mopar dealership in New Jersey that had the required module, which I purchased and provided to my local dealership to expedite the replacement of this critical component. KUDOS ro Allan St. Germain for accommodating my sense of urgency for addressing this situation and scheduling a timely appointment with the service department. He also verified that the faint buzzing/vibration noise I heard after the oil-pan replacement was corrected. Turned out the skid plate which had to be removed for the previous job just needed to be re-positioned, and the vibration s now gone. More

I took my car for an appointment for a noise complaint, they where able to locate the problem, fixed the car and have it ready in the same day.
