Rockland Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM - Service Center

Been a long time customer (about 10 years) and have understood the service industry challenges as of late regarding staffing shortages/delays, so have tried to be patient with businesses. Brought my Jeep in for a regular oil change and a 50k service check. Got my car in for a 9:30am appt at 9:20am and told them I'd wait, but I had a hard stop at 11:30am to pick up my children. Figured 2 hours for a standard oil change and 50k maintenance check was plenty of time and was assured by the associate that I'd definitely be out by 11:30am if I had both done, no problem. If it were going to take longer, I would have made a separate appointment for the 50k maintenance. Fast forward to 11:20am and no one had come by the waiting room to update me, so I sought out an update and was told that they would look into the status of my car (which clearly meant it wasn't done). I'm now past the time I have to leave and I appreciated other associates stepping in to try and help assist to quickly move me along. I didn't end up leaving until around 11:45 (and of course made it late for pick-up and was fined for it) and found out they didn't even finish all the work they were supposed to do. The coolant service was not done (which the associate told me was a critical item to make sure was done at this time), but when I found out it hadn't been done, I was merely told, "Oh that's ok, you can just do that the next time with your next oil change, no big deal." So all of a sudden it's not critical and I can wait 6 months to service that component? The only consolation I got was an apology that they ran out of time because "I had to leave". But the associate knew my time constraints from the beginning and said 2 hours was more than enough time to complete the work. As I waited towards the end, there were only 2 other people waiting in the waiting room. There is another Jeep dealership closer to me and may just end up going there from now on. More

I have no problem with the Dealership. However your customer service representative leaves much to be desiredd. I understand it took soom time to get the parts and then effect the repair, a month to be exact, Other than calling to me once to let me know the cost of looking at the problem and then once to tell me the cost for the fix he never returned any of my calls to keep me updated. Inorder to get any information I had to go to the dealership and track him down. More
