I needed a car for my son and found a VW Jetta GLI online that was linked to Rockwall Ford. I called Carlos Sierra, and he was extremely helpful in confirming the car was available. I told him I was headed that was linked to Rockwall Ford. I called Carlos Sierra, and he was extremely helpful in confirming the car was available. I told him I was headed his way from Plano. When I arrived, he had the car prepared for showing and was quick to show us the features and discuss the car. Very honest and straight forward to deal with. The next day we called to tell him we wanted to stop by to try to make a deal before looking at other options. I explained I was willing to try to negotiate a deal on the spot, or we would head out to examine other options. I shared some concerns about the extended warranty availability and the price I wanted to pay. He was excellent to deal with and truly understands how to fairly negotiate a car and work with a client that prefers negotiating a deal. After purchasing the car, I immediately took the car to a VW dealer for a transmission service as the provided Carfax did not show a complete history of this service. The VW shop noted a dented oil pan and a tire with a bubble in it. I called Carlos, he spoke with the Rockwall Ford team, and they agreed to take care of the concerns immediately. I took the car back, the oil pan was replaced, along with inspection of the oil pickup to make sure all was ok. They even replaced the bubbled tire with the same brand and size tire, so we would not have a mismatched set of tires. I appreciate them fixing these issues AFTER purchase as it shows the integrity of this dealer. There were no complaints and they apologized that these items were missed by their team during pre-sale inspections. I truly believe it was an honest error and it was handled appropriately. I was happy in my dealing with Carlos and the Sales Manager, Rob, although I do have one item that has not been resolved. This is out of their hands, but it is worth mentioning as it does reflect negatively on the dealership. Part of my negotiations were taking into account an offer on their website to receive a $250 Special Promotion Visa to be redeemed if I bought a used car. I presented this and although Rob validated my purchase and redemption code, it has not been delivered to me. When I followed up with an inquiry, Rob let me know he validated it again, but it was a third-party marketing partner. I still don't have my promised $250 Visa Gift Card. If it is received, I will update this review. When it comes time for another purchase I will, at a minimum, give Carlos a call to see if he can assist me in my next purchase. I highly recommend them both and Rockwall Ford for their customer service and integrity, although I wouldn't count on the offer presented online for a gift card with purchase when you are looking, it may not happen. EDIT 11.29.2023 - I received my $250 Visa Gift Card just as promised. Great dealership. More

I want to start by saying the lady I worked with was nice and totally professional and I don’t blame this experience on her. I brought my 2019 Ford F250 to the dealership for a check engine light. It has 59k and totally professional and I don’t blame this experience on her. I brought my 2019 Ford F250 to the dealership for a check engine light. It has 59k miles on and less than 5 years old with a bumper to bumper extended warranty. I bought this truck brand new and it is completely stock! It turns out the truck has blown exhaust hose! Not covered under any warranty and not covered under the factory 8 year 80k warranty from Ford. As turns out the extended Warranty does not cover anything related exhaust system at all.. Here what is over the top stupid. The truck has to revolutionize the exhaust waste build up. It doesn’t tell you or warn you there is problem! So it’s your responsibility as a driver to somehow know your truck has an internal problem purging the exhaust waste. Total joke! The technician told me it was user error!! Lol I said it gave me no warning or notice. His response was yeah you got scroll through the computer to find it. His exact words were “I wouldn’t expect you to agree with it or understand it” Lol! So basically it’s completely nonsensical. It’s the biggest fraud and line of xx I ever been hit with at dealership. Oh and my extended warranty sold by the Ford Dealership was totally worthless and paid for nothing. So I am filing a complaint against them as well. Worst part is the dealership said there was 4 more F250s with the exact same problem. Lol!! Oh had another problem with my computer staying on towing and they didn’t even touch it! They said it was erased in the system error.. lol mind you technician never even hooked my truck up to see what was wrong with it in the first place. Oh he also tried to blame me for not connecting my truck to The internet enough. But didn’t fix my main issue involving the tow screen coming on.. Service is the worst of any Ford Dealership i have ever encountered., Horrible. Probably the last Ford Truck I ever buy and I’ve owned at 9 of them over years. More
I brought in my truck to Rockwall Ford on August 23 for a no crank no start issue. The technician determined that the computer was bad, and said I needed a new one. I had bought an aftermarke August 23 for a no crank no start issue. The technician determined that the computer was bad, and said I needed a new one. I had bought an aftermarket computer and had the technician program it to the truck, but he was unable to get the truck running I declined any further service and paid my account in full (over $700). elected to take it home and fix it myself. After much process of elimination, I had found that not only was the original computer still good, but the newly programmed computer was not programmed correctly and could not start the truck I immediately called the dealership (service manager) back and asked for a refund after explaining the situation, but it was denied along with any other options to rectify the situation. Their reasoning Being, since I didn’t bring the truck back in for them to inspect ($350 tow to dealership), I will not be getting my money back. All in all, the diagnosis was wrong, I paid for a part that I didn’t need, and The part was not programmed correctly, which added to my problems. More
