They are untrustworthy. Let me explain my experience with this company. I test drove around 3 or 4 vehicles and each time, I was told that it comes with two sets of keys. It sounded as if that was a standard this company. I test drove around 3 or 4 vehicles and each time, I was told that it comes with two sets of keys. It sounded as if that was a standard, practiced line. So, rightfully, I believed that I would get two sets of keys. I decided on a vehicle and proceeded to sign the standard paperwork. One of the pieces of paper that I had to sign was the “We Owe” form that shows what is owed to you as a customer. Of course, being told what I was told, I didn’t think I was owed anything. After I had signed all the paperwork, I went out to the lobby and met my salesperson, Mick Hollas. He told me, that he was sorry and that there was only one key. He said sometimes they come with one key and sometimes they come with two. He told me that he would try to look in the detail shop the next day as they had closed for the night. I was satisfied with that answer and waited for his reply. He called me within a couple days and said that he could not find it. He apologized, but I thought that since he told me there were two keys when I test drove the vehicle, that I should get two keys. I signed a document stating that I wasn’t owed anything because I was misled into believing there were two keys. I then took my case to the General Manager, Jay. He tried for a few weeks to track down the keys through the people he bought the car from and, as expected, they could not get the extra set of keys. Jay called me and told me that basically I was outta luck for the extra key. He even had Mick get on the phone with me and when I talked to Mick about it, he called me a LIAR. Now, if this were a regular key, it would be no big deal to me. However, this is one of those intelligent keys. I called the local Ford dealer and they quoted me that it would cost me $257 for the key itself and $85 for the remote starter fob. That’s $342 I was expected to come out of pocket for their mistake!!! Jay tried to explain that he would not pay to get a replacement key by telling me that I got a great deal on my car and that they didn’t make anything on my deal. They (Jay and Mick) have both told me that Rocky Mountain Brokers sells over a hundred cars per month, but they couldn’t afford (more like unwilling) to pay for the key that I was told was included with the car. During my time in the finance office, I was told that Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers does not spend a lot on advertising and relies on the internet and word of mouth. Apparently, $350 is worth it for Jay to have a bad review on the internet and a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Actually, it probably would have been less for him since he would probably get a discount at the Ford dealer. Bottom line, in my opinion, Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers are not trustworthy. They will tell you one thing and then change it AFTER you sign the paperwork and then they refuse to make it right and treat the customer right. I just want to get the account of my interactions with them out on the net and warn other potential customers. Don’t take a chance and have a bad experience like I did. Buy a car from a company that has integrity and will do the right thing. If you do decide to purchase from here, I would suggest you go over the car with a fine tooth comb. Look for things that are normally included with a car to make sure that it is there. Check for a lug nut key, spare tire, jack, air filter, etc. The car might not have these things, but you won’t find that out until after you sign the paperwork. That’s what I think of their integrity. I’m sure others have had better experiences with them or they wouldn’t still be in business. In fact, the other reviews suggest that others have had good experiences. But, would you want to risk having an issue like this happen to you? Do business with them at your own risk. If you do decide to go there, steer clear of Mick Hollas. He will lie to your face and then deny it and then call you the liar just to save himself. “No integrity” is the phrase that describes both Mick and Rocky Mountain. More
We live in Highlands Ranch and have spent the past week visiting numerous dealers in the Denver area looking for a truck that met our needs. We also did a ton of research on-line and after seeing the selec visiting numerous dealers in the Denver area looking for a truck that met our needs. We also did a ton of research on-line and after seeing the selection at Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers and speaking with Mick, we made the decision to drive the hour to Colorado Springs to see what they had to offer. We have to say the folks at Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers (Mick, Jay, and Steve) made our car buying experience the best and friendliest experience we’ve EVER had with a car dealership. They worked with us to get us the vehicle we wanted all within our budget. I highly recommend that if you’re looking for a great car or truck, that you visit Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers and take a look at their lot…you won’t be disappointed. Thanks guys ! we’ll be back to see you when we’re ready to buy again… Rod and Tina Harris More
Price was over book value and then the financing nightmare begins in which they slip in $1300 in dealer fees and high pressure tactics to get you into the top warranty at an additional $2680. Betwe nightmare begins in which they slip in $1300 in dealer fees and high pressure tactics to get you into the top warranty at an additional $2680. Between tax, dealer fees, warranty, additional insurance you end up adding $5.5K to the deal. Buyer beware and read everything very very well and make the finance guy slow down and explain every line on the contract before signing. Later I found out there was additional work scheduled for the car that the salesman didn't reveal even though I asked point blank if they found any issues with the car. The reconditioning manager told me about what else was due when I called to schedule repairing something that was obvious that the salesman couldn't hide. Overall, the car may be ok, but the experience was terrible in addition to the high price. More

It was a BIG mistake to go to ROCKY MOUNTAIN AUTO BROKERS, as it was stated by another customer, yes they do sell CRAP, we were forced to keep an SUV that we didn't want, unfortunately by the time we BROKERS, as it was stated by another customer, yes they do sell CRAP, we were forced to keep an SUV that we didn't want, unfortunately by the time we realized that we purchased a LEMON, we already signed up all the documents. We were told by one of the employees that the General Sales Manager (Jason Oringer) (shame on him) would help us out by switching us up to another SUV as we requested, Boy how wrong the employee was, one of the first things Jason said was and I quote "YOU CAME TO ME TO BUY A CAR, I SOLD YOU A CAR, (in the process of saying that he clapped his hands) IT'S YOURS, YOU SIGNED FOR IT".. I couldn't believed was I was hearing and I told him, Man you are cold. He didn't want to take responsibility for what he sold us. Problems found in the 2008 Ford Edge SUV are the following: BAD BRAKES, BAD TIRES, and a VERY LOUD NOISE coming from the rear. After going back and forth trying for them to take responsibility for the CRAP that they sold us for $23.000, we agreed on that I would take the SUV to his Repair Shop (MIDAS at Stetson Hills) and in there they would fix the Brakes, would fix the noise coming from the rear and would install new tires. Well, they fixed the brakes (they had to Machine Shop the Rotors due to they were damaged, and they replaced the Brake Pads as well, but no new tires as we were promised and when I asked the MIDAS Tech why they hadn't replaced the tires, we were told that they do not do Tires in there (a Big Lie from MIDAS because they do have tires on display), and to fix the NOISE PROBLEM coming from the rear, the MIDAS Tech found/replaced some BAD BEARINGS. Then we drove the SUV back to ROCKY MOUNTAIN AUTO BROKERS to speak with the General Manager again, and asked what happened to the new Tires as we were told, and to our surprise the General Sales Manager (Jason O.) denied he said would give us new Tires, finally we offered will pay for 2 Tires ourself, and for General Manager to pay for the other 2. We were offered only $160.00 and we ended up paying $210.00 out of our own pocket. It's so sad that business like this exist, when it comes to Customer Service, we would say, they are the WORST, especially after signing all the documents they treated us like garbage, They didn't want to have anything to do with us, they hoped we just would go away. Also to complete this process, we filed a Report with the Better Business Bureau of Colorado Springs. More
Heather was absolutely amazing. One of the friendliest people I have ever meet. She was not the normal pushy sales person was laid back as if I was in control the entire time. Would recommend anyone to people I have ever meet. She was not the normal pushy sales person was laid back as if I was in control the entire time. Would recommend anyone to purchase their (new) used vehicle her 100 percent over any car dealership. More
The wife and I browsed Rocky Mountain's website and found a couple vehicles that we wanted to take a closer look at. We made the trip to RMAB and were greeted by Will as we arrived. He showed us the found a couple vehicles that we wanted to take a closer look at. We made the trip to RMAB and were greeted by Will as we arrived. He showed us the vehicles we were interested in and was very knowledgeable about them both. We ended up purchasing one of the vehicles that day. Will worked hard to get us the deal we were after. Even more impressive than that, he took care of all the little details in making our new vehicle shine like new. He really went out of his way to take care of us and I would recommend Will to anyone. The reason why I have given the outstanding rating above The reason why I have given the outstanding rating above is because of the Amazing, Wonderful, Patient, Friendly, and above all OUSTANDING ove The reason why I have given the outstanding rating above is because of the Amazing, Wonderful, Patient, Friendly, and above all OUSTANDING over the top service they have given me*:) I can't Thank them enough!!*:') They are my car angels for sure!! One week ago, last Saturday Aril 27th 2013 my car was stolen right outside my place that I rent at. I was beyond hurt and felt my whole world has fallen apart. That car was my life and home since I am barely home, work, and volunteer my time to a HOSPICE and visit wonderful mix all ages of old people. Most of them don't have any family and visiting them helped me as well since I don't have any family here in Colorado as well. It makes me feel great and warm to give my love to these Wise Lovable Sweet Souls. So by my car being stolen from me while I was taking a nap really upset me to breaking down in tears. I felt helpless by being carless like as if I lost all my arms and legs and empty in my heart. I needed, wanted my car so bad and not having it crippled me figuratively and emotionally to literally since I no longer have any way of getting to work and volunteer. I know there are buses, but there are limited areas that don't have it close and unfortunately there are not any by my neighborhood. The only one close by is about 45min away and caring a purse and belongings walking alone scared me and not safe since my car was stolen and no longer feel safe. Fortunately I have gotten rides to work this past week and that depressed me even more. I felt awful in depending on rides and waiting long hours at work before my shift and after. I am not use to being non-dependent on myself and always been independent with my own car. Working out schedules on my rides has been so frustrating and stressful and broke down my first day back to work Tuesday. Not realizing that I wouldn't have a ride this weekend to work and miss my work more due to no car and that hurt so much in fears of being jobless as well. Instantly I needed to take action and be strong no matter what. I knew my credit wasn't the greatest but needed to try and get a car as soon as possible before this weekend!! I felt determined and hopeful and went to one dealership that kept me waiting for quite a long time that seemed like hours. When they finally got to me they offered me a car that had 200,000.00 miles on it and that really brought me down and felt like I would have so much more issues to deal with it. That did it and felt they didn’t care about me from the beginning so why should I even bother listening to them when they don’t care to listen or work with me. I was on to my next car dealership I heard about that had great reviews from my friends and had a great feeling about them since I know my friends bought great cars there and had great people that care about the guest and had quality service beyond any other I’ve heard of the car business. I was welcomed immediately with addicting smiles from every sales person there and even smiles from other guests that threw me off yet was a great sign to see. A nice sweet full of energy gentleman greeted me right away as if I was a long lost relative like he knew me. Once again threw off but shook his hands and felt so welcomed I just wanted to hug him instead!! As weird as it sounds I was just happy to be in a nice welcoming environment than the last dealership. The gentleman’s Name that helped me instantly was Daniel Gagne. He listened like no other and showed me around and was so caring I could almost cry, but out of tears and tired this whole week. He was amazing in helping me with any questions I had and felt so comfortable with him like he was my dad. He introduced me to Rocky and another gentleman that helped (so sorry I forgot his name*? I told the boys my story and felt so taken care of and excited to get a car soon!! They worked with me and walked out with a decent nice convertible and a second chance and am so happy to have great people on my side and so helpful that blew my mind. I have never met so many nice sales people especially in cars and Rocky Mountain Auto has the most wonderful caring sweet clean staff*? Daniel was my main man (sales man). He went above and beyond and can’t say that enough like my thanks to them. I see why my friends recommended them and they are the best Car dealership in Colorado ever. By far met all my needs and met my standards and will be giving them more business in future and truly greatful and for my angels who saved me from being carless no more!!and gave me back m y INDEPENDECE* Thank you so much you guys!! I have your back always as you have mines*? More
