After a not very friendly start with another employee, Rick was available and I asked him to help me. He was great and very friendly. So I have bought several vehicles in the past, and I have to say, hands down, this was the best experience that I have ever had in leasing/ purchasing a vehicle! My wife and I visited the dealership after a to say, hands down, this was the best experience that I have ever had in leasing/ purchasing a vehicle! My wife and I visited the dealership after a reccomendation from a friend. Were meet by Marcus with a huge smile and a firm handshake eager in helping us find a vehicle that fit our needs. He immediately assesed our needs situation and showed us vehicles that were exactly what we were looking for. He was extremely knowledgeable in the vehicles we test drove and answered all of our questions without hesitation, the sign of a true professional in my opinion. As we all know the 'negotiation' process is not exactly fun and not to mention usually pretty time consuming. With the help of Jim, Markus's sales manager, we all sat together and had a candid, open conversation about the purchase vehicle and our trade in. I have to say that it was refreshing how little pressure Jim and Markus put on us in leasing this vehicle! They were ultimatley concerned in how well the deal worked for us and our finances not their pockets! We had a unique situation with our trade in due to poor sales tactics from another dealership. Jim worked hard to find a resolution for us and was ultimatley succcessful! We went to pick up or new car 2 days later. The process of signing the papers for the vehicle was great! Darcy was efficient and had all of our paperwork ready when we arrived. She was thorough and pleasent, never pressuring us and made sure that we were offered all of the extras if we wished to buy them. Not to mention that our 2 boys were comfortable watching the Seahawks game in thier TV lounge! This was just simply a super pleasent experience! My Niece & I went to look for a small SUV for her,we had done our research for MPG,Value,Safety we did not want a smokers car,I listened to all the radio stations(No head banger music). We went to 4 dealers on Evergreen way Everett .Rodland was the 2nd one & Rick met us & he said he had a few on the used lot up the street. I didn't want him to waist our time nor did I want to waist his He looked up the inventory & we saw some worth looking at, so when we got there the ones we see just didn't say "Ya this is a good one" But then Rick said "Ya know someone just traded in a 2003 Rav4 We haven't even looked at it but let me get the keys" We took it for a ride Clean,one owner, 88,000mi no major dents So we left & went to 2 other dealers & got the used car salesmen BS , we had planned on going down to Lynnwood but we were already tiered of the typical car salesman . The only person who listened to our budget ,what we were looking for & didn't try to upsell us was Rick Jones so we called him ,he was there when we drove up & with in an 1 1/2 hrs it was done. I was picking up the car for my Niece in two days on Monday afternoon but I live on Whidbey ,Rick said let me know when you are coming over I will meet you at the boat so you don't need to catch a ride Wow I didn't expect that . We arrived to view an advertised used Prius. We liked it very much, but went home to think about it. The car was impressive in its fuel usage and track record. Rod's knowledge and comfortable attitude and demeanor went a long way toward convincing us. We are thrilled with our purchase! More
Doug was awesome. I took my friend to purchase a vehicle at Rodland before, but felt that that salesperson was swindling. Make us walked always to the back of shop trying to look for the car. I felt bad for my friend for purchased that vehicle and white wasn't even his choice of color. I hope my friend gave him a bad rating. After that and couple other bad car buying experience, I was very discourage about going in and have a face to face conversation. But Doug made it easy & simple. He brief about the subject vehicle & take questions. My wife love her new 2013 RAV4.
