We have been shopping for a crossover SUV for about 6 months. We have driven everything and were settled on the Honda and were going to purchase as soon as we could see the 2013 Toyota Rav 4. Well, We d months. We have driven everything and were settled on the Honda and were going to purchase as soon as we could see the 2013 Toyota Rav 4. Well, We drove the Rav 4 and the decision was easy. I thought I would go to Burlington and save the sales tax. But Mike was easy to deal with and pricing was easy and the trade was fair. They had to go get us a dealer trade down in Portland which took a couple of days. The only thing I would ask they improve is taking credit cards for down payments. I usually use an airmiles card for down payment in order to get the miles and then pay it off. They wouldn't go beyond my $2500 deposit in the card which required me to go to the bank etc. This felt very 1984 to me and they just need to change their policy. I bought a new Ford truck a couple of years ago and put 10k on my credit card. Now, the deal was easy and Mike was patient with my wife and her Spanglish. I will buy from him again. In fact I need a new car for my teenage daughter in a couple years. If Toyota has something that competes with the Nissan Leaf I will get one and get it from Mike. More
We had shopped for a Prius at a different Toyota dealer about a week before we came to Rodland Toyota, and our experience with the other guys left us confused, uninformed, and fairly P.O.'ed that the sales about a week before we came to Rodland Toyota, and our experience with the other guys left us confused, uninformed, and fairly P.O.'ed that the sales guy wouldn't answer any questions. Our experience with Rod Kollmeyer was totally different. When we told him what we were looking for, he gave us a bumper to bumper introduction to the Prius - features, hybrid technology, differences between the trim levels, how things work, etc. He took us for a test drive, and added information all along the way. By the time we got back to Rodland from the test drive, we were convinced that we were going to buy a Prius, and were able to decide the trim level we wanted. The next day we got a great quote from Rodland thru the Costco Car Program. I called Rod Kollmeyer, and he invited us to come in and talk and finalize a deal. So we did. Everyone we talked to at Rodland was pleasant, professional, very helpful in explaining the mountain of paperwork, etc. Rod Kollmeyer took lots of time walking us thru all of the forms and checklists, went over all of the controls as we were preparing to drive away in our new Prius, and even set a terrific SiriusXM radio station for us. (Given our ages, he nailed our preferred music.) More

I just bought a used Subaru Forester from Rodland Toyota last Sunday. I went in well-prepared, but assumed, wrongly as it turned out, that this would be another basically negative experience dealing with s last Sunday. I went in well-prepared, but assumed, wrongly as it turned out, that this would be another basically negative experience dealing with salespeople at a car lot. I also assumed that since my car of interest was a Subaru and not a Toyota (from a Toyota dealership) that there would be little interest or knowledge of the car from the salespeople. I was wrong on both accounts. John Wood is totally professional and took very good care of me. Jay Kemahli handled the financial paperwork with absolute professionalism. Rob Olsen made me feel like I was buying the most expensive Toyota on the lot, even though I was there to test drive a 2-year old Subaru. Not only did Rob know every operational detail about the car, he also listened to and respected my pricing research and offer. There were absolutely no pressure tactics, everything went very smoothly, I got the car I wanted for what I consider to be a very fair price, and everyone seemed to come out of the process a winner. Rob even spent at least 45 minutes showing me how to set up and use the bluetooth feature and other details in the car, even though the sale was complete and there were, I'm sure, other things for which he could have used that time. I also received a fair price for my trade-in. Based on my experience with John, Jay, and Rob, I recommend Rodland Toyota without reservation. Even though I live 70 miles away from Everett, I'm sure that the next time I'm in the market for a car, new or used, I'll go back to Rodland. More
My husband and I recently visited Rodland Toyota in hopes to buy a new car. From the beginning we were treated by a handful of very polite, friendly staff members who made buying a car an easy process. Col to buy a new car. From the beginning we were treated by a handful of very polite, friendly staff members who made buying a car an easy process. Colin Miller was specifically the person who walked us through the process and made the event a great experience (even with a 1 and 4 year old). I would highly recommend Colin to anyone who is looking to buy a new or used vehicle. He is professional, will not pressure you into anything and talks you through the long process. He was wonderful! Thank you Colin! From - The Mabalays :) More
I have purchased several new cars over the years. Often the first meeting leads to a pleasant "salesman" who doesn't know much about the cars, and does his best to make you feel pressure to buy. That is n the first meeting leads to a pleasant "salesman" who doesn't know much about the cars, and does his best to make you feel pressure to buy. That is not what happened with Mike. In fact, dealing with Mike was the most pleasant, and more importantly, the most helpful car buying experience I have ever experienced. Mike found out which car we were interested in, and then he spent as much time as we needed to explaining the features and the operation of the hybrid system in the Camry. This effort was given not to "sell me a car", but rather to help me decide if the Camry Hybrid was the right car for us. Negotiation of the price was stress free, without pressure or game playing. All in all, every dealing with Mike was positive. I would return to Mike again if I am looking for another Toyota, and I would strongly recommend Mike to any prospective purchasers. More
I was looking for a second car as a commuter with better gas mileage then the 2012 FJ I bought last year. Me being a recent convert to the Toyota fan club the first obvious choice was to hit up the local T gas mileage then the 2012 FJ I bought last year. Me being a recent convert to the Toyota fan club the first obvious choice was to hit up the local Toyota dealerships. This being a commuter car I wanted a newer used car that was certified. We spent about a week online reviewing inventory and then went to all the local dealerships to check out the different models. I found a good internet price on a 2010 Corolla with low miles that I couldn't pass up. I emailed Wendy O'Neal the Internet Sales Director and she was able to schedule a same day appointment with the sales consultant we had talked to that weekend, Brandon Huynh. We were in and out of the dealership in under 2 hours that night. It's usually the finacial part that bogs down the car experience but Tom Staniford was quick and the process was quite painless. I would recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking for a new or used vehicle. More
If you are looking to purchase a new car, Rodland is the place to go. Every single person is very friendly. The best part about this dealership is that they are all very honest, and really are there to help place to go. Every single person is very friendly. The best part about this dealership is that they are all very honest, and really are there to help their customers out in every way possible. Jeff and Doug were absolutely amazing at helping answer any questions I had and showing me all my options. When going through the financials Darci was great to work with. I felt like I could really trust her, and she was really just looking out for my best interests. Overall, the experience was great, and I highly recommend going to this dealership if you want the best possible buying experience. More
