We were in a sudden financial plight, and needed some considerate and understanding people to work with, not hard driving deal makers. The people at Rodland were definitely out to sell a car, but when Jeff took the lead, the deal changed. It became more about what I needed than the sale. My wife went to Toyota of Kirkland to get a better deal and thought she had one and I reluctantly went down there. All the papers were ready to sign and I just looked at My wife and said... This does not feel right. I checked the numbers, and it was the same deal, with different numbers (63 payments instead of 60). They quickly went into discount deal mode and brought it down and down, but no matter what they did, it still seemed slimy. I told Gale I wanted Jeff to have the deal as he had been straight up with me, and even more, he had been a genuine gentleman with me, Toyota of Kirkland did not wait 10 minutes after I drove off the lot to start hard selling me over the phone after specific instructions from my wife not to call me as I was a going to work and needed to concentrate on my day ahead. The lady was worried about getting her bonus, she told me as much. I just said no. We returned to Rodland, and patiently, over the next three days, on our timetable, through our challenges, got the deal done, and with the blue model that we really wanted. Pam (it might be Kim) in financing was a delight and a kind hearted woman who knew we had been through a lot. She made it easy, Thanks to the dealership and these two wonderful people, a painful time in our lives showed that there are good people in the car business. And we thank Rodland for having them on their team. Don't ever forget the human side of the customer! If you reach their heart genuinely, they will show their appreciation. More
We had a really great experience at Rodland Toyota when we purchased our new Toyota Sienna minivan. We were deciding between the Honda Odyssey and the Sienna. We first visited the Honda dealer nearby where it was very difficult to get a price quote. They expressed not liking to give a price if we were going to leave and compare it elsewhere because the other dealer would just "undercut them by $50 to $100 to get our sale." The salesman and his manager were less than forthright and acted like they had something to hide. With Rodland Toyota, we had a great experience from start to finish. Our contact with their internet representative was friendly, efficient and we were given pricing for every model of minvan they sold. We were also contacted only via e-mail, which we requested. Every other Toyota dealership ignored our e-mail only request and began leaving phone messages on our answering machine. When we arrived at Rodland's we were met by Jason Lyon who immediately came across as genuine and friendly. The second sentence out of his mouth was a price on the van we were interested in! How refreshing! Jason was thorough and informative throughout our whole visit. He even had great input on choosing a color that would wear well and not show dirt and scratches so badly. He showed us the consumer report magazines and answered all of our questions. He never pressured us and was fine with us leaving to talk about our choice if we needed to. When we made our decision on the model we wanted, Jason searched the Northwest and found us one that we drove home later that day. We financed through Toyota to get the great reate they had available and that went smoothly and quickly. So far, the van has run beautifully and our family is very happy with the purchase. We are glad we chose to go north to Rodland's! More

My Wife and I were out looking for information on the 2009-2012 Scion XB. We went to three Toyota dealerships and a couple of used lots. We found that most Toyota dealers were selling used Scion XBs fo 2009-2012 Scion XB. We went to three Toyota dealerships and a couple of used lots. We found that most Toyota dealers were selling used Scion XBs for virtually the same price as new units. HUH? We found our way north to Rodland Toyota, and were introduced to Rob Olsen, who treated us professionally and answered all of our questions. After some quick "number crunching", my Wife and I decided to purchase a new XB. Since we were first-time new car buyers, their were a few extra steps which took longer than we had hoped for. With two small children, every minute becomes a larger challenge to keep the control status quo (which was the only reason for the "4" in overall experience). Then, we suddenly had to leave during the signing process due to a family emergency, and the professionals at Rodland even gave us a call the next day to check in on us, and make sure everything was ok. We returned a few days later to finish the transaction and drive home in our first new car! As a side note: Rob went the extra mile and came in on his day off to walk through the car's features with us, and see us off. More
This was the first positive experience I have had at a Toyota Dealer. Jason greeted us, treated us in an extremely polite manner, worked with us through the entire process and made a sale. Having said that, I stopped by Rodland Toyota only to double check their inventory. I researched the varying tax rates throughout the Western Washington Toyota dealerships and never planned on purchasing from Rodland Toyota. I test drove a couple of different Tacoma's and suprinsingly found one that drove better than all the others I had driven previously. I didn't care for the color and was willing to leave in search of that perfect combination. Well, John Yi worked very hard and asked me what it would take to earn my business. I told him how I felt about the vehicle, but John and one of the sales managers, Jeff, offered me a deal that only a fool would pass on. I drove off the lot with the Tacoma and now realize that this Tacoma was the perfect one for me. I have some items and accessories that are still owed to me and hope that my excellent experience with the sales department continues with the service department. Kudos to John Yi and Rodland Toyota for earning a tough critic's business! More
Walked into the dealer to test drive a Venza and left the dealer 2 hours later with driving a 2011 Venza.
