Recently purchased a new RAV4 (2023) at Rodland and was having a difficult time with the technology on the dashboard screen. A few weeks later visited the dealership to seek help. One of the salesmen, Br having a difficult time with the technology on the dashboard screen. A few weeks later visited the dealership to seek help. One of the salesmen, Brandon, kindly took time out of his morning to spend time with me and patiently walk me through the process of connecting to the computer, etc. He was not my salesman and, despite the fact there was nothing in it for him to help me, he gave excellent customer service. He was very knowledgable, patient, and cheerful throughout our interaction. He even took additional time to answer my questions about other aspects of the vehicle. In a world that seems increasingly more focused on, "What's in it for me", it was delightful to meet a young man who's focus was, "How can I help you?" If I ever buy another car here, he will be my sales guy. More
Horrible experience buying a used vehicle here as a female identified individual. Avoid preowned sales manager Marcus Krachunis and finance manager Darci Clark at all costs. Sales consultant Robert Dix female identified individual. Avoid preowned sales manager Marcus Krachunis and finance manager Darci Clark at all costs. Sales consultant Robert Dixon was great though, no complaints there - not at all someone to pressure, was professional, knowledgeable and didn't use the manipulation tactics of the other two. Pre owned sales manager Marcus Krachunis is sketchy and dishonest but tries to make it out like he's being totally transparent with you, much like finance person Darci Clark. Marcus and Darci both are very fixated on pressuring you into deals and warranties via scare tactics and other manipulative techniques. For example Darci will say passive aggressive and guilt trippy things like "if my friends and family come here I won't let them leave without this" or show horror story fake photos of tangled up car wires with little relevance to the warranties and add-ons she's pushing you to buy. It's absurd. Only bought my car here because it met the criteria I wanted and because Robert was better to deal with, otherwise I would have definitely walked away at multiple points in the process due to the inappropriate behavior by these two. For example Marcus claimed he could only give me 10,000 for my trade in that was valued via KBB at 14,500 for a trade in. And he claimed the car could only be sent away to be sold at auction, but less than a week later he's reselling it at 18,000 online at his own used car dealership. He also never even looked at the vehicle himself which was weird. And Marcus couldn't give me a straight answer why a car that was same trim level, 1 year newer AND less than half the miles was priced over 2,000 HIGHER than the one I wanted, and was clearly annoyed when I pointed that out repeatedly - he kept being evasive on that. Marcus kept trying to portray himself as a victim caught between a rock and a hard place on pricing. As someone who is in the field of psychology and is well-educated, I felt disgusted by these tactics as I could see many buyers (especially young, low income or female identified folks or even anyone who's never purchased from a dealership) falling prey to these manipulation tactics. Rodland Toyota is fantastic! Working with Jesus Vazquez was amazing! He listened to our needs and was able to get us into the car of our dreams. We recently started looking at To Working with Jesus Vazquez was amazing! He listened to our needs and was able to get us into the car of our dreams. We recently started looking at Toyota car dealerships closer to where we lived (Bellevue/Kirkland area) but those dealerships had high dealer markups and made the car buying process uncomfortable. In contrast, Jesus at Rodland Toyota (and his mangers) worked with us and were able to get us a deal we were comfortable and happy with!!! Would highly recommend anyone in the area to make the drive north and visit Rodland Toyota. Outstanding customer service! Thank you! More

I AM CONCERNED FOR MY FAMILY'S SAFETY. On my 2009 Venza the SRS (side airbag) dash warning light kept coming on. I checked on the internet and there was recall #21A01. The fix NHTSA dete On my 2009 Venza the SRS (side airbag) dash warning light kept coming on. I checked on the internet and there was recall #21A01. The fix NHTSA determined was to replace the wiring harness in the driver's door. Thus, I called my local dealership - Rodland Toyota. I took the vehicle in May 1, 2023. Service adviser Lauren Townes stated they fixed the problem. I pick the vehicle up and the next day the SRS warning light came back on. On the receipt it read the technician just inspected the connections and took photographs. They had not fixed anything. I telephoned them and took the vehicle back to them. Later the next day they stated Toyota wouldn't pay a second time to fix a recall. They said I now had to pay to fix the recall. However, when I asked what the fix entailed - they replied to replace the driver's door wiring harness. The very solution NHTSA determined. I spoke to the service manager, Mark Kuhns. He stated if the warning light had been on when I brought the vehicle in for service - then Toyota would have paid to fix the problem. I advised him both times I brought the vehicle in the warning light was on. He ended the telephone call and stated he would get back to me. The next day Mark Kuhns telephoned to say I needed to call Toyota Brand Engagement. I even offered to pay for the part if he installed it for free. Kuhns refused. At Toyota Brand Engagement, I spoke Annun. Originally, she stated Rodland should warranty all work for 12 months. However, Annun called me back to say it was between Rodland Toyota and me as Rodland had originally reported the recall as already fixed. (By just a few days.) I feel my vehicle is unsafe to drive and I fear for my family. It is unsafe because Rodland Toyota refuses to actually fix the problem. I speculate the mechanic never checked for codes and maybe just looked at a connection. Then he/she just marked the check box there wasn't a problem as he/she had probably done a dozen of times before. However, my vehicle is different. The warning light keeps coming on and it will come on every time I open the driver's door while the engine is running. I want to protect others. More
