Easy, low-pressure, thorough and professional. We live south of Seattle, so we hadn't been planning on driving all the way up to Everett to buy a car. However, Derrick Dankwah and Rodland completely outclassed the other dealers we talked to. His communication was responsive and clear, and he made us a good deal. He was up-front that he didn't have our preferred color in-stock, but he gave us the option to either wait for one to arrive new from Japan (an extra week) or to acquire one from another local dealership (a day or two). We went with the latter, and they had it ready for us with no issues. Funnily enough, it was the same car we test-drove in Renton the previous weekend - the sales guy from that dealership never called us back, but Derrick got us the exact car we wanted. I was impressed that they even staged the car for us - put it on display in its own special room where we could take pictures. I forget what the Finance guy's name was, but he was good as well. I'm prepared for Finance to be the high-pressure sales area nowadays, but he did a good job of presenting the options. He pushed on the areas that he believed in, but was friendly throughout, stayed short of being high-pressure and he made us a good deal to help us out. He gave us space to discuss privately before closing out the deal. The only hiccup was we had to redo the Finance paperwork, because it originally had the car on it coming in from Japan, rather than the dealership transfer. But that was a quick and easy fix, they were very apologetic, and ultimately it was because they went the extra mile to get a different car sooner. So no worries there. More
