The experience was awful! The 2010 Forester, which we had bought from them, was not roadworthy. Less than 24 hours after purchase, it suffered a significant mechanical failure The 2010 Forester, which we had bought from them, was not roadworthy. Less than 24 hours after purchase, it suffered a significant mechanical failure. My wife, her mother, and our two children were taking a short trip on winding backcountry roads when the incident occurred, requiring the car to be towed- as it was unsafe to drive. The dealership misrepresented the work that had been done on the car both on the carfax report and to us personally. To make matters worse, the dealership repaired the supposedly broken brake caliper but refused to address any of the additional issues that were discovered, disclaiming the implied warranty after the fact, never in writing. In fact, days later when the car showed signs of additional issues, they lied and told us that the implied warranty did not apply to the vehicle because it is over 100,000 miles; thus, refusing to refund our purchase. When I sought to show the NYS statute that proves the implied warranty remains in effect within the first 30 days after purchase, if there are any safety issues with the vehicle and/or misrepresentation on the part of the dealership, the manager became verbally abusive. He even said that if we wanted to trade the Forester for one that is roadworthy, he wouldn't give us the full monetary value that we had originally paid, just days prior. I have been advised by both a mechanic and an attorney to report the dealership to the DMV and the Better Business Bureau. Avoid Romeo Kia of Kingston. Your life might literally depend on it. More

I've had my car serviced here after I moved from NJ to NY. I've heard good things about this dealership to have my car serviced. We picked up my new Kia Niro PHEV from the gang at Romeo Kia of Kingston, (go to Dave, bald English dude! He's awesome! But, EVERYONE was amazing) and I don't exaggerate when I say, we dealt w/them for a mo Kia of Kingston, (go to Dave, bald English dude! He's awesome! But, EVERYONE was amazing) and I don't exaggerate when I say, we dealt w/them for a month before actually taking delivery of the car, and they were amazing the entire time. On our way out, Dave noticed, we had a blemish or 2 that shouldn't be there. I'm OCD like crazy and I didn't notice. He had it scheduled to rectify the following week. Mike & Caleb in service, provide a service that's 2nd to none. These guys are on top of their xxxx 24/7. They remembered my name before I ever knew theirs. And they got it right every time, I come/came in there. Real Talk But the best part is, when you're there, handling your issue is the only thing they seem to care about. Down to the last detail....including returning our lease to Toyota. They took care of all the paperwork. We were treated with absolute respect. We are really happy with our purchase of our used Honda CRV. They are true to their word and only sell cars that they personally screen for quality. I had a fantastic experience at Romeo Kia of Kingston! I traded in my 2017 Forte for a nice new shiny 2020 Forte. The team, especially Bill and Dave, were super nice and helpful. Michael the sales was great and patience. We were there for used 2016 Kia soul, but when we got there, the car was just sold. Since it took us 2 hours to get there, we make the time worth, so we test drove for used 2016 Kia soul, but when we got there, the car was just sold. Since it took us 2 hours to get there, we make the time worth, so we test drove the 2020 Kia soul, and we get to love it. We reached a deal with Mike with the trade in, even after we shook hand, we changed our mind couple hours later for the trade in. Mike was very patience to try to give us a new deal with back and forth texting, and we did reach a new one with even greater deal. So thank you Kia Romeo. The only thing that I kind of disappointed when I get my car delivered, I see the new plate without Kia Romeo frame, so I can show it off that I got it from Kia Romeo. More
