I had been to another dealership, and dealt with another virtually online, and the experiences were less then stellar. I decided to request a quote from Jeep.com, just to see if that would get me any close virtually online, and the experiences were less then stellar. I decided to request a quote from Jeep.com, just to see if that would get me any closer to finding what I was looking for. They got back to me in about 10 minutes and set me up for an appointment later in the day @ Ron Lewis. I got hung up in a meeting and was going to be a little late so I gave them a call to let them know, and although there was a little confusion since the Chrysler rep didn't give me the name of who I was meeting with, the receptionist was extremely friendly and reassuring so things where off to a good start. When I arrived, about 10 minutes later than my appointment time, their internet rep was with another customer but another sales consultant(John "Ringo" Saunders) instantly volunteered to help me out. There was a little confusion on my part in the beginning since he didn't have the communication from the Chrysler rep, which I assumed that he did, but Ringo simply asked that I had to fill him in on what I was looking for, which of course was pretty specific and unfortunately a little unique. Here is where the experience got significantly better than my efforts with other dealerships up unto this point. Ringo was honest and upfront, which I appreciated, but did so in a friendly and supportive manner, which I appreciated even more. When I wasn't finding what I was looking for at another dealership their sales consultant instantly tried to talk me out of the feature to try to push to what they had on the lot but Ringo seemed genuinely more concerned with finding me what I wanted, or as close to it as was possible, and or reasonable but looked to me for what "reasonable" was. It was refreshing and honestly surprising, especially given that it was the last day of the year and from what I "think" I know about car sales and dealerships, that is the big time to push to move inventory. He spent a great deal of time with me exploring my options and they found something close at another one of their dealerships. It was exactly what I was looking for, except for one thing, the color. I had a choice to make and Ringo let me make it. No pressure or selling per se. He gave me my options and patiently waited while I made the decision and when I did, which was to purchase the one that was available, he still pulled me back a bit just to make sure it was what I truly wanted to do, which it was. From there he, and the finance folks, where patient and friendly as I put them through a few hoops to run numbers a few different ways. What I didn't realize while we were taking the time to do this, they had already arranged for delivery of the vehicle from their sister dealer which was about an hour away. Once financing was settled I was handed off to Brett Baumgardner to finalize everything. He too was friendly and supportive as he presented me with further options, and also patient as I made my decisions on those. Was everything was settled it was just a question of waiting for the vehicle to arrive. It took longer than expected but when it did finally arrive, instead of just rushing me into it, they took it to the service department and gave it the once over and quickly washed it. It ended up being a long process for everyone, but everyone stayed patient, courteous, and friendly. The experience was a positive one, and the vehicle is great. I would recommend the dealership for purchasing a new vehicle, and especially Ringo. He's just a pleasant person to deal with, but more importantly he'll truly work with and, quite honestly, for you. Short Ver *** STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE *** There is no other way to really say it: Pleasant Hills Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership is awful! Short Version: - Started working on my vehicle two hours after my scheduled appointment. - Failed vehicle inspection because I declined $400 of unnecessary work. - Wasted almost three hours of my time for a procedure that can be thoroughly completed in under an hour. - Exceptional level of indifference, and lack of customer service, from service manager and receptionist. Detailed Version: I scheduled a service appointment to complete the annual inspection and emissions check for one of my vehicles on August 13th at 8:30AM. Ten minutes before my scheduled appointment I gave the keys and required paperwork to the service manager: Ed Moore. After waiting an hour and forty-five minutes for this relatively routine procedure; I went to the service desk to inquire about my vehicle. The receptionist checked, returned and told me the service manager wanted to speak with me. Ed said he wanted to replace the front brake pads and resurface the rotors, a procedure costing nearly $400, or he wouldn't pass the vehicle. Knowing the brake pads are fairly new, less than 20,000 miles, not squealing, or giving us any problems; I said I would look at them and change them if necessary. Ed then asked me if I still wanted to complete the emissions test; not wanting my entire morning to have been wasted, I said I would but asked how long it would take to complete. Ed Moore, the service manager, told me they were "just getting to it", the test takes only a few minutes and that I "would be on my way in ten to fifteen minutes." In the meantime I could pay my bill. Because I declined the unnecessary work, costing upwards of $400; the service manager failed the inspection and told me that it is "state-mandated" that I still pay the full fee for the inspection; pass or fail. And unless I wanted to pay an extra $400 for unnecessary work nothing could be done. So I paid the bill and asked for my vehicle. Forty-five minutes after I paid the bill I was given my keys and able to leave. *** STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE *** More

They made it very easy and were not pushy like some sales people can be. I also did not have to spend a lot of time at the dealer waiting for decisions regarding pricing or paperwork. They were honest and up front about the vehicle and the financing. I feel great about my purchase and that helps me to enjoy my new car. More
