Most dealerships wanted to play the old games and only wanted to work over the phone or in person, but Allan Bell really made the purchase process super easy for us by providing transparent online proposals, answering my many emailed questions, and providing a lower price than any of the Kia dealerships in the metro area. In fact, most of the deal was worked out over email, so the visit to the dealership for the test drive and purchase was very efficient, quick, and was without the usual pressure and tactics that old school dealerships use. My salesman, Allan Bell, was pleasant to work with, asking an I recently purchased a 2019 2L RWD Kia Stinger from Ron Tonkin Kia in Gladstone, Oregon. My salesman, Allan Bell, was pleasant to work with, asking and answering a lot of questions to assist me in becoming familiar with the Stinger. My overall experience with the Tonkin dealership however was not good. I traded in a Kia Forte5 in outstanding condition (less than 6000 miles), presenting them with hard copies of both a current Kelly Blue Book offer and a Carvana offer as well. They still attempted to lowball me by offering $1000. less than the low Kelly blue book offer. When I walked out, they chased after me and raised their offer to Kelly blue book. Their finance person Rebecca Ziegler, also attempted to sell me an extended 3rd party extended service warranty for far more than it was worth. I declined. She then offered the same policy for a thousand dollars less than her initial offer and I declined again. She made a 3rd offer for yet another $1000. less ( at $1300).This finally seemed in line with what I believed a 10 year extended bumper to bumper wrap policy should have cost so I accepted the offer. The dealership also insisted that I needed to purchase a one year ZazGPS tracker security coverage and that the deal they offered me was contingent upon my acceptance of the ZazGPS tracker coverage. IMO, this is a sleazy dealership practice. Finally, despite being told that I would be finished with the process by 4:15pm (I started the process at 11:00 am), the car was not “ready” until 5:15pm.). To top it all off, when I was ready to leave, I was told that the dealership had lost my spare key for the vehicle and would have to order another spare key. This ended up taking two weeks to receive the spare key & necessitated a 2nd visit to the dealership. This was an end of the year sale and in all of Oregon and Washington, there was only one other 2019 Kia Stinger base model available for purchase (in Seattle). Had this vehicle been available at other Kia dealerships in or near Portland, Oregon, I would not have purchased from the Tonkin dealership and I will never purchase from them again. Because of their sleazy treatment, I do not recommend Ron Tonkin, as there are several other Kia dealerships in the Portland area. More

Purchased my first brand-new car from this dealership on Black Friday. I take a long time to make decisions and detest salespeople who act like a pack of wild dogs! I did not get that feeling at all. Looking back through my emails, from dozens of dealerships in the previous month, I see that Mr. Daskalos was one of the only salespeople who responded to my inquiries about some used models, without pressuring me to come immediately for a test drive. I want to return to this rating with more positive words for my salesperson as well. Must cut short for time. More

When I entered the dealership it was for an oil change on my Kia Soul, Mikol greeted me while opening the door and was very courteous...he offered to show me the Telluride (cause I was just looking). Had he been pushy or aggressive I doubt I would have entertained the purchase... Since the Soul was so new I feel I received a wonderful deal and am over the moon with my new ride. More
