Both my husband and I agree it was the easiest, most pleasant car purchase either of us have EVER experienced in our combined 80+ years of car shopping. I was nervous and a little on edge walking in, expecting to be assailed by high-pressure tactics. Instead we got Travis, the best sales person possible for our low-key personality styles. He was friendly, warm in a genuine way and impressively knowledgeable about the vehicles. He wasn’t pushy, but he was persistent that Kia was the way to go. He made sure we found exactly the vehicle features we wanted, right down to the interior color I most desired. He explained all the technology the vehicle offers in a clear and organized way. Between Travis and his equally considerate manager, Breez, we got all the paperwork accomplished very quickly and the monthly payments we needed. So there’s not a shred of buyer’s remorse, nor the bitter aftertaste of being run through the mill, which I have felt in the past with other dealerships. On the contrary, we look forward to going back to Ron Tonkin Kia when this lease is up. They said ‘Welcome to the Kia family’, and it actually felt like they meant it. I think they’re onto something to cultivate customer happiness with the buying experience, as well as with the vehicles. Speaking of which, we are absolutely besotted with our new Sportage SX! We love it beyond expectations. The ride is exceptionally smooth and peppy, while the interior is quiet and cozy. We drive the long way home, because we don’t want to get out of the warm seats, nor stop listening to the enticing sound system. Let it snow, let it rain! More

I felt like I could just relax into asking for what I wanted and letting the folks at Tonkin do the work. This is my first time buying a new car. The last time I went to a dealership to buy a car (prior to coming in to see Steve at Tonkin) was quite horrendous and I was shamed for my financial situation, so I have to say I feel the Tonkin folks healed that wound and sent me on my way with a wonderful new Niro. Absolutely incredible dealer at this dealership!!! I have never thought I'd leave a dealer with a car and I have went to several dealerships in hopes of getting a vehicle with poor lending history and I have never thought I'd leave a dealer with a car and I have went to several dealerships in hopes of getting a vehicle with poor lending history and a lack of credit. I finally got a call from a dealer at kia by the name of Steve Kaney. Steve went above and beyond to get me a vehicle and I will forever be incredibly grateful for his confidence and generosity. He did everything in his power and because of him my 4 year old daughter and 4 month old daughter dont walk in this cold weather. My commute to and from work is better. I would reccomend this specific dealership to anyone looking for their first vehicle or even another vehicle. But overall I wish I could get a fat stack of his business cards because with my friends and family, 4 just isn't enough!!! Anyone would be extremely lucky and excited to have Steve Kaney as their dealer at this dealership!!! Hands down best customer service, best care, best quality and relatable quality. Above and Beyond Back ground, I had purchased a 2016 Kia soul November of 2015, and happened to roll the car off the road with car resting on roof and yet other than b Back ground, I had purchased a 2016 Kia soul November of 2015, and happened to roll the car off the road with car resting on roof and yet other than bruises and a few minor cuts basically walked away from wreck. Great safety features. Well insurance totaled car out and mentioned to check with dealer about GAP protection, so a call to dealership and a talk with Rebecca Zeigler(whom offered to guide me through GAP claim) I was starting the process to get old car loan paid off(in the end gap covered what insurance did not), but here I was in a rental and Rebecca asked if I would be interested in buying a new Kia Soul. Well survived so well the safety and fit had me sold so I accepted and Rebecca put me in touch with Scott Mooer to help pick out a car while she was getting the financing going. Scott went over what features were available and we narrowed done to the package I wanted and then just to pick a color, as Rebecca got all the paper work all lined up and in just a week after crash was in a new Soul, just having to wait on the GAP claim to go through. Great service for a previous customer. More
