DO NOT TRUST this dealer without asking for EXTENSIVE PHOTOS. I recently was in a bind and needed a car, so my daughter let me use her lease car that had a few days left on the lease. I had enough ca PHOTOS. I recently was in a bind and needed a car, so my daughter let me use her lease car that had a few days left on the lease. I had enough cash to purchase a used car cash, but local selection was limited… so I did some online car shopping. I had never purchased a car online before, but using Carfax, I was somewhat comfortable knowing the car’s history was documented. I found a nice Acura TLX that had a decent amount of miles (140k) and was about a two-hour drive away, and it was also near the dealership where I needed to return the lease. This car was a one-owner car with thorough maintenance records of service through the dealership… I know this car can easily double the mileage that it has accumulated. I could see through photos that a rim was scuffed and the console leather was torn. It was already listed through Carfax as a “Great Value”, but I offered $1,000 less. (That was still way above the trade-in value.) The salesman called back and said my deal was accepted. We finalized a price with taxes and fees, and I then got a cashier’s check from my bank for that amount before leaving for the dealership. I then drove two hours to purchase the vehicle. I had never purchased a car unseen before… and I made rookie mistakes. I trusted that the vehicle was well represented on the website. IT WAS NOT. ALL of the photos were from eye level and of the sides and ends of the vehicle. NONE of the photos showed the roof or the hood. When I got there, I was then informed that there were “fading” issues with the hood and roof. I realize that it’s the salesman’s job to sell… but I should have been informed of the paint before concluding the negotiation. Even worse, once I saw the car when it was dry, it was much worse that it appeared when the car was wet. I did not have to buy the car, but I would have been definitely inconvenienced if I had not. Mechanically, the car is awesome. It runs great and it will last for a while. However, it desperately needs a paint job. Do NOT trust their website. This dealership will NOT give you an accurate representation of the vehicle. More

Labor costs seemed inflated, and prices mysteriously changed depending on who was working that day — not a good sign for consistency or transparency. While the staff was polite, the overall experience felt predatory. Politeness doesn’t excuse questionable billing practices. I left feeling taken advantage of rather than taken care of. Proceed with caution and ask for detailed breakdowns in writing before agreeing to any work. More
