I brought $22,000 in down payment/trade equity on a 2025 Camry that had an MSRP around $28,000. Toyota Financial Services later showed I was somehow financed at nearly $48,000. No senior should walk in with that much cash and leave with numbers like this. My daughter and another Toyota dealer all pointed out the same thing: the deal was “stacked,” misrepresented, and not aligned with what I was told. If you’re an older buyer, please be careful. Do not assume the numbers match the talk. I wouldn’t want anyone else, or their parents, to go through this. More
On 11/29/2025, during a visit to a Toyota dealership, an employee handled my phone and shortly afterward a $5,000 unauthorized transfer was made from my checking account. The withdrawal caused overdrafts, disrupted scheduled payments, and ongoing financial complications. The dealership has not resolved the issue. I have escalated the case to Toyota Corporate and still awaiting for next steps. More
