The salesman was rude and very pushy and tried to use "hard sell" tactics on me after I said the car didn't work for me (previously he'd been professional). I would like to give this Prime Honda 128 a negative star if it is possible anyways. I am a long time customer to this Honda dealership and taking my car to them since 2014 for any service need. I used to li if it is possible anyways. I am a long time customer to this Honda dealership and taking my car to them since 2014 for any service need. I used to like them a lot until my today’s visit. Last week I noticed water leaking inside from the rear right door during rain which was fixed by them only in Jan 2018. During today’s visit I mentioned it to them. Once I was there the gentleman Iffy finalize the paper work and said it will be 74.99 diagnostic fee. I agreed and signed. I was waiting there and after 1 hrs Iffy came back to me and said technician need more time to find the water leak. He arranged me a ride. While waiting for the ride Iffy came to me and said it will be another 304$ for diagnosis. I was surprised and asked if they do not find anything after two hrs what will happen. He replied I need to pay all diagnostic fee. What? Then said I don’t want to continue and want to take my car back. He asked me 74.99$ diagnostic fee. I refused as they did not find anything and from my previous experience with them ( no charge if they can not find the problem). So Iffy agreed to remove the fee (but remind me that anytime car goes in the service center it is subject to 74.99$ fee!) and started completing the paperwork. In the mean time car was there in front of the service area and I went to check it and noticed no sign of water in the car as a part of diagnosis. Then I went back and asked Iffy how did the technician diagnosed that there were no problems with the door seal (they were saving them as all the door seal were replace by them earlier. Then he replied that it was done visually ( they were asking 74.99 for visual inspection!) I was bit disappointed and told him so. Then he said the tech will come to talk to me. I was waiting and one gentleman (Now I recognize form the picture, Ed Wallace) came and said tech is not available. When I explained the situation he got angry and replied angrily that he can not understand what I am saying. Then I said how can you tell where the water is coming from without using water. He replied that he trust his tech (Paul) more than his wife and he can tell by visually (30 yrs of Honda tech experience). When I asked is this justified to charge 74.99 for visual inspection he said we did not charge you anything (yes, because I refused to pay for visual inspection) Then he asked do I want them to be pour water on my car (Funny!). Please be careful from this place. They are completely different now and having bad work ethics along with attitude. Their techs are liar and they are a big robber stealing money in broad daylight on the face of customers! More
