Shopping for a new car is not my favorite thing to do. I visited Honda Gallery first on a Wednesday (6/26). I knew I wanted a new 2013 Honda Accord. Brian Sullivan was very well-informed and responsive to my inquiries. We went on a test drive and Brian answered any question I had. After getting an offer I told Brian I was also going to go to Herb Chambers in Burlington. I did and got an offer that beat the original by about $750-$1,000. I called Brian the following day (Thursday) and came in to visit him again later in the day. After some discussion we made a deal within 10-15 minutes and completed the contract and financing details. I came back on Friday to pick up the car and to get any additional questions answered. During the process I met two or three other people (the General Manager was one and the person handling the financing was another). Both were professional. Overall, my experience was positive and I would absolutely recommend the dealership and Brian Sullivan. More
I was shopping around for a Honda Accord. I inquired on line, and the internet manager set up an appointment to meet with a sales associate. The appointment was only 45 minutes before the dealership closed. I was running late, but that didn't impede my meeting. Mike and Carlo listened to my needs, walked me through the options, and before I left I had a fantastic offer for a new car on the table. I came back the next day, and Mike took me for a test drive on the car I had chosen. Mike walked me through all of the features of the car...and offered to sit with as long as I needed to understand everything it had. I really liked the car. Once again, I was under pressure with my own time constraints, but, once again the staff was very professional, and provided a bona fide offer and experience. I closed the deal and even given my time constraints, they worked quicker than anticipated, allowing me to drive away with the car. Mike understanding I was under the gun from a time constraint offered to sit with me at a future date and go over all of the features of the car again. So. overall all of the people that I interacted with were great. More
Basically I came in for an oil change and I left with a new Honda Accord. I leased a Civic a year and a half ago and I asked the salesman, Brian Sullivan, aka "Sully" about trade in options. He was very kn new Honda Accord. I leased a Civic a year and a half ago and I asked the salesman, Brian Sullivan, aka "Sully" about trade in options. He was very knowledgeable and so helpful. He catered my every need, even drove and picked up my son and I to/from Jordan's Furniture to see our 4:00 movie and when we returned, everything was ready. I would recommend Honda Gallery and Brian Sullivan to any friend. Thanks Sully!!! More
After a terrible experience at a Honda dealership in Danvers, my husband and I decided to visit Honda Gallery. All the sales associates were extremely friendly and we got in the door without being attacked! Adolpho helped us with our purchase of a new 2013 Honda Cr-v EX GG edition. He was patient and kind. We got a very fair price and ended up getting all the features we wanted and saving a lot! Also, Carlo the sales manager was great too! The only issue we had was that they didn't have the title to the car. This should be avoided in the future by ensuring that the titles are all accounted for before selling the car! But they did get the car ready very quickly once the title was received. Thanks again! More
My overall rating was based on my experience just recently when downsizing from a 2007 Pilot to a 2013 CRV. I am not a frequent car shopper so it is something that I procrastinate in doing because of the bad reputation that most car dealers have; pushy personalities and or the long drawn out purchase of a vehicle. This is my third time purchasing at Honda Gallery and I did not experience any of that with all three purchases. This last transaction and sales help was with Brian Sullivan who was certainly a contributor to continued achievement in the purchase of a new car. He was not only friendly he showed an interest to what I was looking for as my needs changed in the type of vehicle I was driving. From the time of testing driving various vehicles and the signing of papers was not overwhelming and dramatic. It was cut and dry, simple and easy and was not tied up for hours going back and forth over trade in value and how the numbers played out. I gave it the rating "great" because my overall experience was a success. More
The sales experience was very low pressure and they gave me an excellent deal on my trade-in. I wanted to wrap up the deal quickly and they were able to assist me. Even the sales pitch on other warranties and Safe lease - which I wound up getting - were low pressure, just explaining the options. I would definitely recommend them and would buy there again. More
After reading the reviews of the Honda Gallery, my expectations were high. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. My salesman, Sully, was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to show me and test drive two types of Honda Accords. Very knowledgeable. When negotiating on a deal with the sales managers, I was told I would not have to pay any fees if I financed even though I wanted to pay the car off in cash. (I had never financed before) Unfortunately, I didn't realize they charged me $1100 fee for financing when the contract came. Costly mistake and a lesson to learn on my part! So when I picked up my new car, I discovered a couple black marks on the rear bumper! And the all season mats that were included in the deal never came. Sully insured me that the black marks would be removed when I picked up my mats. Fast forward to 2 days later, Sully informed me that I could pick up my mats and the black marks would be removed when I came. I left a message for him as to when I could come in but as of today (more than a week later), I still have not received a call from him. Disappointing. Luckily, I was able to remove the marks on my own. When I picked up my mats, the service department wanted to charge me $150! What?! Carlo, the manager on site, was able to help me get the mats included in my deal. Love my car, questionable customer service (at times). Not going back. More
Brian Sullivan was very polite and never applied pressure sales tactics. If we said no to a feature, that was it. No hassle trying to convince us otherwise to purchase an accessory. He was extremely helpful with Bluetooth and when my phone was not compatible said to stop in any time when I had a newer phone and he would set up the Bluetooth. More
I talked to Honda Gallery parts and service department few days back to install side steps for my pilot. Parts department told me that it will be available today and service department gave me 7am service few days back to install side steps for my pilot. Parts department told me that it will be available today and service department gave me 7am service appointment. Today when I went there at 7am I have been told that side steps are not available and there is no service appointment on my name. I am very disappointed and never going back to this dealership again. If I wasn't able to get to Honda and had questions, I was able to call Brian and he immediately get back to me and answered all of my questions. On two different visits to Honda I had to bring my 3 young children...yes, I know this could have potential for disaster. All of the staff were very patient and kind to my children. Honda Gallery even has a nice sized area for kids to play and read. I would highly recommend Honda Gallery of Reading and Brian Sullivan to those looking for a reliable car and honest service. More
