I went back to the dealership where I originally got my car and to my disappointment basically told me to build my own online and then come back to them. A friend recommended Derek Matos at Route 44 Toyota and he bent over backwards not only to find me a Scion XD BUT got me the color I wanted as well all within my price line and then some. He sat with me to show me the upgrades since 2012 and to explain its features. He was polite, extremely friendly and helpful. I will recommend Derek and Route 44 Toyota every chance I get. Steve Woodcock changed my life I went in to get service on my Tacoma and this guy asked me how I was. You and I both know car salesmen, so I was a little standoffish. Without forcing himself on me, without making me feel inadequate or that I had somehow broken a promise I'd never made, this guy got me to drive a 2014 Camry SE. And, as they say, all I had to do was drive it...the car did the rest of the work. Still, Steve worked it out for me so I could get the car at the price I wanted, the payment I wanted. He promised me 0% interest and that's what I got...no bait and switch. Bottom line is this: I trust this guy and he treated me like he actually cared whether I was happy with the car. I've been looking to purchase a car for some time now and a friend of mine recommended that I go to Route 44. After reading some of the reviews I was a little skeptical but I decided to at least go check it out anyway. I met with Terrence (I'm almost positive that's his name) and I found him to be really pleasant and knowledgeable. I explained to I didn't plan on purchasing that day and was just exploring my options. And surprisingly he didn't pressure me or try to convince me why I needed to buy TODAY, that surely would've sent me on my way. He was extremely professional, PERSONABLE and really helpful in obtaining a reasonable quote. Although my experience was pleasant, I decided to check out another dealership for comparison and the attitude of the salesman left much to be desired. He could've cared less and it was all about making a sale for him. So, I went right back to Route 44 and purchased a Rav 4. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others (in fact, I already have--ask for Terrence) and plan to do business with them again. All salesman aren't crooks after all! lol! More
