Horrible experience. Dealership is rude, unprofessional, and demeaning towards females. Came to dealership knowing what I wanted. Salesman had an easy sale. Leased a new Juke and they were to payoff my trade in. As weeks passed and my auto loan was still open/pending payments, I called and inquired. The salesman told me it was paid off to wait a few more days. I waited a few days and then came to the dealership to inquire was told that although the trade in was under my name they really did not want to deal with me as my husband's name was first on the lease and mine as co-signer (second). My husband called and he was told the payment had been made. A week later we both came to the dealership because the payoff still had not occurred, and after waiting we were told there was a glitch in the system and the check never went out. Another week went by and the tradeoff payment was still pending.... My husband and I both came to the dealership again and inquired. I was told the manager's name was Michael Cibellis. I walked up to Mr. Cibellis and politely asked if he was the manager and he bluntly said NO! I told him maybe you should not wear a name tag with your name and title if you want to deny who you are to customers. He walked away rudely. I then waited for Richard Catalano who I saw twice before. This time he introduced me to a sales manager he said was his boss Jesse Moritz. Mortiz told us they were cutting the check and overnighting the next day and he would contact me to confirm. Needless to say that never happened. I called him back and got the information. Well, it is almost mid July and I leased the car in May. The loan is still open because of interest that accrued during the time between the payoff amount was gotten and the payoff finally was received by Capital One. I again have called, now Mr. Moritz alone for assistance and well nothing has happened. I am really upset with this experience and hope others are careful. Oh and yes, that little review came in the mail to rate the dealership. I filled it out all right!!! More

I informed Nissan customer complaints department and I urge everyone who left a genuine review here to do the same. It is obvious from the entries below that with very few exceptions all 5 star ratings urge everyone who left a genuine review here to do the same. It is obvious from the entries below that with very few exceptions all 5 star ratings are by Automall46 employees to improve the score and the genuine entries almost uniformly made a bad experience. My case, like many others here was a classic bait and switch scam and I can only hope that Nissan cuts ties with these frauds. After three separate telephone conversations with the same Automall46 employee, in which I detailed the car I wanted, that I was shopping for the best price and would go to whoever had the most competitive offer, I was told that they had my car and was given a price quote both over the phone and in an email that read "Dear XY, ..... In regards to your inquiry on the New Nissan Quest LE, your special E-price is $ 34,995, with the original MSRP of $43,295". Needless to say that I asked twice whether that was really the price I would walk out with (plus the usual tax, registration fee etc.) or whether any other cost would come on top of that, as I didn't want my time wasted. This was expressly confirmed. Arriving at Automall46 I was pointed to a poor young sales assistant by the name of Troy, who was obviously bewildered at my written price quote and could neither find the car in the color that I had been assured was available, nor even a car that had the same MSRP. So he got a sales manager (slim dark guy) who said he had no idea how I got this particular price quote (???), and he was willing to make competitive deals only on cars he had on the premises, not ones that he had to get from elsewhere. So I said "fine, what colors do you have here" and they had one I liked. So Troy got the task to get me a price for that without further instructions. He added the MSRP difference (the one at the shop had a Cargo package for 700$) to my 35k and I said fine, I can live with that. But when Troy went to get the sales managers approval, he came back saying much to my surprise he had to start over and that there were discounts in the price quote that did not apply to me. To make a long story short, I had to force a talk with one of the sales managers who initially told Troy they were all busy. The SM turned out to be Rich, a sad little small town bully who was unabashedly loud in front of customers and staff, saying that I "simply didn't qualify for the discounts expressed in this price quote", and when I argued in equal volume that that price quote was the result of detailed discussions with one of HIS COMPANY's employees over the phone and that I had it in writing from his own staff, he told me in only slightly more polite words to shut up and literally that this was "just advertising". I replied that he was telling me that he systematically lured potential customers into his shop with false promises, in order to pull a much larger price tag on them, thinking that the truth spelled out might make him uneasy. Well, it didn't in the least and I walked out with my precious time wasted, not intending ever to go to these crooks again. After the incident I called the telemarketer Jose Flores again, to determine whether he is part of the scam or as naive as Troy. From his reaction I believed the latter and advised him to find a different employer. Given that Automall46 has a lot of young inexperienced sales employees, I fear that many of these will either be bent and twisted to become the unscrupulous likes of Rich and his gang, or leave broken and disillusioned, having been subjected to the worst of salesman greed and falsehood that this industry has to offer. In summary - never ever go there whether to buy or for work. If you work there already, find a new employer unless you see a chance to get rid of this horrible management. I would really like Nissan to cut the ties with this lot, as I bought my Quest LE elsewhere (for 38.7k) and am really happy with their car. And I would like this site to review and remove the fake entries plus come up with a better verification method to avoid the laughable 3.5 star rating for this 1 star joint (just look at the vague jubilant 5 star ratings, the large number of 5 stars entered all between April 2nd and 4th, compared with the detailed and believable 1 star ratings, and note that there are only 5 star or 1 star entries, that should tell you enough). We went two weekends ago to help a friend who was looking to buy a new car. They are still animals. I had been once before years ago to buy TWO Nissan sentras and wound up walking out. With a few thousand down the payments they wanted were 500 a month. That's what I pay for my brand new Cadillac! just like that time, this time they held my friends DL even after he said he wanted to leave. they refused to talk prices until he sat down with paperwork on the maxima he wanted. the advertised price was nowhere to be found. They are still dirtbags. Ironically, we ran into one of their salesman at lounge 46 a week later and he actually told us that the dealership is having their employees put fake surveys on here to boost their ratings! He said they got so many complaints that they were getting calls from missing corporate. He asked us how else we thought it was possible that all of a sudden they have nothing but 5 point ratings when before they had hardly any. He said he was on his way too a better dealership as he couldn't take it any more. We felt bad for him. What a sham dealership. More
Having never purchased a used vehicle from a dealer I was uptight about getting pressured, being shown something I did not come for. But that didn't happen. The salesman took me to see and test drive the car uptight about getting pressured, being shown something I did not come for. But that didn't happen. The salesman took me to see and test drive the car in which I was interested. When I returned with my mechanic, he patiently helped the mechanic check out and test drive the car. Courteous at all times, there was no unneccessary conversation. the price was a little more than I expected to spend, and the finance man explained the pricing policy and gave me his rock bottom price once, without needing to haggle without embarassing or deprecating me in any way. After making the deal, driving off in my "new" car and realizing that I only have 1 set of keys I inquired about a second set. The salesman offered to contact the private party that sold the dealership the vehicle. Sure enough, I received a call to come in. The seller delivered the second set of keys and other items that the seller neglected to provide. In short this experience was a positive one from the start, and even after the sale was made. More

DON'T WALK INTO THIS STEALERSHIP IS A THEFT ALLEY THEY ARE BEING INVESTIGATED BY THE NJ STATE ATTORNEY OFFICE RIGHT NOW FOR ALL THEIR BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS AND FAKE CAR FAX REPORTS ON CARS. This deal ARE BEING INVESTIGATED BY THE NJ STATE ATTORNEY OFFICE RIGHT NOW FOR ALL THEIR BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS AND FAKE CAR FAX REPORTS ON CARS. This dealership has turned into a theft alley as soon as you walk in. I had bought two previous cars from them throughout the years and never had an issue with them. But after two different experiences with them I would never return there and will repeatedly tell all my friends to avoid Route 46 Nissan by all means. First Bad Experience I purchased an 04 Infiniti from them after showing a car fax that the car was never involved in an accident. Couple of years later I went to Fette Infiniti where they ran the Car Fax on the car as soon as I told them that I had purchase it at Route 46 Nissan. The Car Fax showed that the car was involved in two front collisions by the previous owner, so clearly the Car Fax that I was shown at Rout 46 Nissan was completely faked. I was told by Fette Infiniti that every single used car that they sell in their lot has been involved in a car crash and that why as soon as I mentioned their name they ran the Car Fax Report. Second Bad Experience My mother wanted to get a Nissan Versa, upon walking into the dealership they wouldn't show me any cars unless we filled out a credit application and handed down my credit card. I told them No so the salesman when to talk to the sales manager and then came down and asked me again I said No again and proceeded to leave when he got in front of me and told me ok let me show a nice versa that I have, we drove down and saw the versa, the keys he had didn't work, I asked him how much they were asking for the car and he said before giving me that info he would need to know how much I was going to put down and how much I could afford a month. I told him no I want the price so we could negotiate. The whole thing turned into a nightmare, at one point I was even told by them that I wanted to steal their car. I walked out and left. DO NOT fall for their false advertising on internet prices, once you get there they won't honor the prices and if you go to check out a car that you saw already on the internet and don't tell them that you saw it you will see that they will try to sell you the car at the highest possible price.
