This is the absolute worst auto dealership I have ever seen. The sales people are extremely unprofessional & disturbingly aggressive. From the minute you drive in to the second you leave you feel overwhe seen. The sales people are extremely unprofessional & disturbingly aggressive. From the minute you drive in to the second you leave you feel overwhelmingly uncomfortable with the environment which emits the impression as if they'd steal a dollar off a homeless person if it meant a personal gain. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS & THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR OWN CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE MISLEADING "DEAL" THEY CLAIM YOU'RE GETTING. JUST AS SOON AS THEY FEEL THEY CAN MAKE ANOTHER DOLLAR, THEY'LL BACK OUT OF THEIR SIGNED AGREEMENT AND SELL YOUR CAR TO SOMEONE ELSE, DESPITE LEGALITIES. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, YOU WILL REGRET IT, TRUST ME! I had an authorized contract from a representative of this dealership & placed a deposit on a car the day before picking it up to ensure that they'd hold the car for me as the sales staff confidently formentioned. However, upon arrival, I noticed significant issues that were omitted thru creative online photos and were told that I had to hurry up because others were trying to sell/buy the car. How is this possible when I made a deposit and have a signed agreement from the dealership from a day ago? Everything seemed really shady. From the get go, I was rushed to make a decision before fully inspecting the car. When I pointed out the concerns I had that were not brought to my attention earlier, their response was in so many words, we don't care. After careful consideration of all factors, I proceeded to finalize the purchase despite my better judgment as I drove 300 miles to get this car. However, as soon as my salesperson had the office personal process my full deposit, the brain surgeon sales manager decided to breach their contract & claim that the car was unavailable as he had a higher bidder. I attempted relentlessly to debate the fact that they had authorized a legally binding document and however much additional amount they were to make above the reasonable amount they were going to make on me, that unfortunately they had to withstand their prior obligation to sell the car to me at the agreed upon price. This rationale didn't seem to make sense to the GM of Sales as he continued to reject the deal after approving & accepting it the day before. I couldn't believe he acted in that irresponsible fashion in front of so many of his up looking peers but he proceeded to be irrational about the whole deal despite all of my efforts to convince him to simply abide by his original agreement that enticed me to drive there to begin with. This is the worst experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. You should feel good about investing this amount of money anywhere you go and even though I didn't get the car, I have been scared from this transaction. This operation in my opinion is 100% unethical and is incompliant with state regulations in that respect. It's important that everyone who is considering a vehicle from this dealer step away. There's no reason anyone should be treated this way. Completely disrespectful and disgraceful to all the dealerships that are out there doing it the right way. To top it off, these guys went as far to contact the police to ensure that we left their premises promptly. What kind of a sleazy style company goes to that extreme over a car deal? I spoke to the officers, while I was on the phone with my bank to make sure they didn't take my money and then try to have me leave, who went on to mention they've been there several times. Why? Are they seriously making that many bad deals? They need to be closed down and have their business license revoked. What a horrible name they've made for New Jersey. I'll never visit nor buy anything from that state ever again. The officer by the way suggested that I pursue this in a civil nature and notify the appropriate personal to enforce fair business practice upon these stellar individuals. I hope this is read before anyone suffers the misfortune of purchasing a vehicle at Route 46 Nissan in Totowa, NJ. More

I have been with Nissan since 2007. This dealership has been nothing but GREAT to me. They are extremely helpful, courteous, and efficient. My last visit consisted of terminating my lease for my 2008 Altim been nothing but GREAT to me. They are extremely helpful, courteous, and efficient. My last visit consisted of terminating my lease for my 2008 Altima and getting into a new lease. I was pressed for time because of the inconsistency of my work schedule. As soon as I walked in, I spoke to Wagner, who has been phenomenal thus far, knew of my financial hardships I was going through. I just finished school, so things are rough. I sat down literally for 10 minutes and was able to get into a 2011 Altima without any hassle. It was at the exact price range I was looking for. Plus, it was a Special edition model. I was and extremely satisfied with the car to say the least. The customer service that was given to me was definitely exceptional and would highly recommend Wagner as not only a salesman to purchase your new vehicle, but the dealership period for their outstanding services. HORRIBLE!!!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. First, my sister went in there to lease an '11 Maxima. She worked with Brett, absolutely uninformative, no help whatsoever. He had papers ready to sign, and we haven't eve in there to lease an '11 Maxima. She worked with Brett, absolutely uninformative, no help whatsoever. He had papers ready to sign, and we haven't even looked at the car, just spoke on the phone. He started bragging that he sells a certain number of cars, etc. She left. She got her Maxima at Route 23 Nissan/Ford, great experience, no hassle. I decided I wanted one as well. I went in on Wednesday, the 1st of June. Not sure the salesman I spoke to, but he didn't like me right away. I mentioned to him that I am looking at a Maxima with Sport plus Tech. He asked me lease or finance, and I mentioned that I wanted to speak about the price first, clearly he already assumed I didn't know what I was talking about, being 22 and fresh out of college. He went in, and get the 'big' dog as I see he has been called on this site, Richie. Same thing, he mentions money factor, thinking I don't know what I'm talking about. My credit is bad, but I have my sister to cosign, and she wasn't with me at the moment. He mentioned how I don't qualify for a lease, only finance. I told him, I can get qualified, I want to see what numbers you can give me. Anyway, he wouldn't, so we say our goodbyes. I heard him utter some expletives, like 'Get the eff outta here.' I wasn't going to waste my time. I went ahead and went to the Nissan on Route 23 with my sister yesterday, June 2nd. I was definitely aggressive seeing as the experience I have had so far, but the guy was nice. Found the car I want, but I told him I'll think about it. I figured, were on our way back, let's stop again on 46 and see, since my sister is with me. Not sure what the guys name is, that helped me. Spanish guy, as soon as you walk into the 2nd door, his desk is on the left. We see Brett right away, he assumes were here for my sister, so he gets excited. My sister informs him to look at her Maxima outside, he looks aggravated and mentions that he sells more cars than anyone else. That wasn't the problem. I sit down with the 'salesman' and we speak. I mention I was there last night, etc etc. He asks some questions, I mention they had a deal for the SV Sport for $249. He says that it is for the base S. I told him, the base S was online for $179. He switches his story to the, ' you don't qualify for the $249.' Which is fine, I understand my credit is horrible, but to tell me that I can get it for $400, that is $150 more a month, that's ASTRONOMICAL interest difference, or Money factor, etc. UNHEARD OF. I'm not an idiot, so I mention that, and he doesn't seem to know what to say. He asks for my birthday, and mentions, 'Oh that's why you are like this, your sign is virgo.' I say to him, "You actually believe in that stuff?" He didn't like the comment. He gets aggravated, says, 'so I see you have done your homework, smart guy.' I got a quote from route 23, $350 a month for Sport with Tech, with 3K down. He says, 'what's wrong with that, you can't afford that?' Mind you, I don't take too kind to people questioning me like that. If I'm at your dealer, it means I can afford this. Not to mention, I'm an Accountant, straight out of college, with passing the CPA and in pursuance of an MBA next year. That comment rubbed me the wrong way. So now I start to really get 'smart' with him. Eventually he says 'LEAVE.' I told him, 'Hey man, it's not my fault, I'm much younger than you, and already making more money than you.' Normally, I don't stoop to low levels, but once he questions my ability to pay for the car, just had enough. I would speak to a manager, but I believe they are all like this. Complete and utterly unprofessional. Save your time, you will not get a good deal. Anyone who says they did, doesn't know numbers. I can't fathom how anyone had a good experience there. DO NOT GO TO!!!!! I am still extremely aggravated at the way they go about 'customer service.' Even though, it might not mean anything, I'm looking for ways to complain. More
I just want to say what a great experience I had an Route 46 Nissan. I had to downgrade my car and had a budget in mind and Rich and Wagner worked hard to keep me in that number even though I was looking a 46 Nissan. I had to downgrade my car and had a budget in mind and Rich and Wagner worked hard to keep me in that number even though I was looking at a higher priced car they kept reminding me of my original goal. They truly gave me a great price and as a woman I never feel comfortable walking into a dealership, but, Rich Catalano was recommended by a friend saying he would do the right thing and he did. Even the finance manager was really nice. I would definitely send the my referrals. I even got a call from the service manager the very next day and the Head of the dealership also wanted to be sure everything went well and left a message saying if there was any concern to call him. Overall a great experience. Would definitely go back and recommend them. More
BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY WILL HUSTLE YOU FOR YOUR MONEY AND NOT DELIVER A SAFE RELIABLE CAR. DO NOT USE THEIR CARFAX BECAUSE ITS NOT ACCURATE AND MAY BE FORGED. DONT BE DECIEVED BY THE FAKE SMILES AN MONEY AND NOT DELIVER A SAFE RELIABLE CAR. DO NOT USE THEIR CARFAX BECAUSE ITS NOT ACCURATE AND MAY BE FORGED. DONT BE DECIEVED BY THE FAKE SMILES AND PHONY ACTS OF NICENESS. I bought a 2007 nissan Murano from this dealership about a week ago by a salesman named Patrick Rodriguez. I took it home and within 3 days I had it checked by my mechanic and it was revealed that not only was the car involved in an accident but it also did not pass the Pennsylvania state inspection. I notified the manager about this is issue and he referred me to another salesman, Roman Villanueva, so that I could get the car switched . I ended up with a 2008 Nissan rogue. Prior of buying the vehicle I specifically asked the Roman if the car was in any accidents and asked for the carfax. Roman ensured me that the car was never involved in any prior accidents and he showed me what was believed as the carfax (which it wasn't real). I took the vehicle home and I had my mechanics inspect the car and then it was brought to my attention that the vehicle was involved in a rear end collision and that it was poorly reconstructed back together with glue that was peeling. The mechanic also told me that there was a high possiblity that if I ran over a pothole the whole bumper would fall off because it wasn't fully attached to the vehicle. Also, there was two gashes on the front tires I took the car to return it was then the salesman. He acted very unprofessional by telling his manager "F#ck them" referring to me and my father. Also, prior of me returning the second vehicle I notified Roman Villanueva that my EZ Pass was left in the first vehicle. He told me he had the EZ Pass in his possesion. When I arrived to return the second vehicle he refused to return the EZ pass back to me. This has been the worse experience of my life dealing with these hustlers and their unsafe vehicles. More
I called the dealership because I received a pre-approval for financing in the mail. I was already toying with the idea of getting a new car anyway because I had my heart set on a Altima coupe. So I called t for financing in the mail. I was already toying with the idea of getting a new car anyway because I had my heart set on a Altima coupe. So I called the number as the letter instructed so that I could get a determined loan amount. (since I had received a similar mailing from a toyota dealership, I figured this had to be very similar) so anyway when I called I spoke to Wagner Abreu. after giving him my personal approval code, he said he was still not able to give me an estimated loan amount.hmmm???? interesting. So he insisted I come in to check out what he had in stock. (mind ou it was raining) but since I was interested, I said what the heck. I show up at the dealership and I was informed that Abreu had already gone home. of course IM thinking wth???? Why would you have me drive all this way just so I can be told that you've already gone home? how unprofessional. So after deciding to deal with another sales person, all of a sudden Wagner appears," saying oh I saw you pull into the parking lot so I turned around" ?????? geez how impatient. After sitting down withhim to discuss credit and financing, I couldnt help but feel pressured. He would not answer my questions directly. (something I noticed on the phone, but brushed it off) He seemed bent on asking me questions about my credit and everythign was rush rush rush on his terms. I told him about my poor experience with rte 22 honda a few years back and he didn't say anything to put me at ease. Infact he acted as though he wasn't really listening to my needs as a potential customer. another red flag. I called to speak to another sales rep this morning and reached Bret, who seemed to have no shame in stealing Abreus potential customer, right out from underneath his nose. "telling me if you don';t want to deal with Wagner Abreu you can always come in to see me instead. wow. how sneaky...if this is how they treat each other, then I'd hate to see how they treat their customers During our conversation, Bret kept cutting me off and avoiding my questions as well..When I told Bret about the car I was interested in he quickly told me that the vehicle had already been sold, but then quickly changed his story when I told him I had just come into the dealership on Sat and that there was no way they could have sold it that quick considering the banks were closed when I came in and the dealership was closed on Sun. hello??? lol.NOt to mention wagner had just shoed me pictures of the vehicle online and insisted it was still in stock. so anyway to make a long story short, I did a check on www.dealerrater.com to see a history of previous customer experiences...the results were shocking. There were reviews after reviews of the lying, and poor customer service received at this dealership, as well as unreturned phone calls. after reading the reviews, I have come to the conclusion that this is not the place tat I want to buy a vehicle. I hope something is done about this grimey behavior. With this kind of treatment to your customers, Its baffling how you even stay in business. ughhhh Im going to another dealership instead. More
I purchased a used vehicle here on 2/21/2011. i have yet to recieve the license plates or registration. the temporary plates expired once and the new one they gave me will expire in 5 days! no one can/will to recieve the license plates or registration. the temporary plates expired once and the new one they gave me will expire in 5 days! no one can/will help you when you call. i will not reccomend this dealer to anyone. also the car i purchased has brake trouble that i wasn't aware of until after the purchase. i took the car to stauss discount auto and they informed me that someone put new brake pads on BAD rotors that needed to be changed. i feel like i was ripped off! i wish i knew about this site before i went to this dealer. i've had loads of advice about how to handle the brake situation but am not sure if its the right approach. i only had the car for 2months. what should i do? I went there to buy a used car. I chose a Nissan Altima Coupe 2008 for $19900. I paid $3000 down and I got a loan of $23000 from bank. After three weeks I got the book from bank that showed me that I got Coupe 2008 for $19900. I paid $3000 down and I got a loan of $23000 from bank. After three weeks I got the book from bank that showed me that I got this loan not for 5 years as they said, but for 6 years. When I went to this dealer, they did not want to talk to me because I signed all papers already. THEY ARE LIARS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER. I WARN YOU.... More
First let me say no deal was made because I was fed up with this place. Devin was polite and probably an alright salesman but we didn't get to talk to him long before he brought out the hammer, Rich Cata with this place. Devin was polite and probably an alright salesman but we didn't get to talk to him long before he brought out the hammer, Rich Catalano as mentioned probably 100x on this site. This dude is a straight up liar, with typical salesman attitude and typical sleazy sales pitch. He thought I was dumber than I look I suppose. Kept throwing the word "wholesale" around like I didn't know what it meant. Apparently, he was offering me the new Juke at "wholesale" price which in itself was total BS because it was simply the quoted invoice minus about 800, give or take. It's the same price you get from overstock, edmunds, AAA, or similar sites. Maybe needs to go back to car salesman school to learn this? When I called him out he got nervous and shook around some paper he had and put it back down on the desk (body language).. and then agreed with me LOL. This guy will yes you to death, but it's apparent that everything is a LIE. Then he says my trade in is worth 3k and refuses to give me any more when the car is worth 6-7k easy.. This place REALLY wants to rip you off, it's insane. Then when I got up to leave, turned my back and heard him say "get the f*** out of here" in a sarcastic voice, like I wasted his time or something. I laughed it off because he was such a coward as to not be able to say that to my face. But that was actually pretty funny and somewhat disturbing and I'll tell this story for a long time about my experience at Rt 46 Nissan and the chunky moron who told me to "get the f*** out" of his dealership. Hey Rich or Devin, if you goons are reading this.. I got 5k for the subaru and paid 22700 for a loaded AWD SL Juke at rt.22 Nissan. Hows that for "wholesale"?? LOL.. IDIOTS! More
