WAY OVERPRICED We took our car to Nissan - where we got our lease - to get a price on a repair. The panel underneath the left side of the car that protects the engine had come off. While I know this type of repair is considered not under a warranty, the car was just at the one year mark into our lease - AND this is the fourth car we have leased from them. I thought there would be some sort of customer loyalty consideration, but no. The price quote to fix was $645.00 plus tax. I went to a local mechanic - who has been in business for years, is a AAA approved auto repair and is extremely reputable and they repaired the car for $341.00. HALF of what Nissan was going to charge. They ordered the parts from Nissan and labor was 1/2 an hour. Where they come up with $645.00 is beyond me. My husband spoke to a Nissan rep at consumer affair headquarters about getting a better price as we have leased 4 cars from them, and they did not care. We contacted our sales rep we have used for all our leases - Robert White - to see if he could get a better price and he was going to get back to us and never did. Obviously they are not concerned about losing our business. When my husband told the Nissan rep that we will not be giving them our business anymore all that was said was "sorry to hear that". And Robert White was very attentive when we wanted to lease a car, but not at all attentive at trying to get us a better price. More

We came to Route 46 Nissan to see a Chevy they had available and we were immediately greeted by Nick. I sell cars myself, and I would send any salesperson to Nick to see what a professional is supposed to act like. He was friendly, personable, informative and attentive to our needs without being too pushy or desperate. Nick was smooth. Lost our registration then SWORE at me on the phone! My husband bought a 2010 Murano from Route 46 Nissan last year. I was not thrilled with the terms he got but he really liked his sales rep Grorge. Oka My husband bought a 2010 Murano from Route 46 Nissan last year. I was not thrilled with the terms he got but he really liked his sales rep Grorge. Okay. A year later we want a newer model car and now we need TWO cars so back to Route 46 Nissan we go (because he loves the service there). George led us to the newer Murano to test drive and took our keys to grab the insurance and registration out of our car (weird but okay.. My husband likes you). The car is nice. We mention we have a couple more cars to look at but we'll keep it in mind we're hoping to finalize our purchase towards the end of the month. He hands me the insurance card for the car and we leave. After visiting the JEEP dealership later on I go to put the Insurance card George handed me back in the pouch with the registration and all our other important personal documents and notice the entire folder is missing, so I call up the dealership. The rep gets on the phone and it seems we have a bad connection he keeps saying "HELLO" so I repeat that the registration and some personal paperwork is missing probably 3 times. There's some silence as I hear papers shuffling and keys on a computer so I say "HELLO" again. Then loudly I hear "GIMME A MINUTE I'M LOOKING WHAT THE *BLEEP*" there's giggling, papers shuffling and a few more expletives... So I hang up and ask my husband to just drive there and deal with it because I'm HIGHLY upset!... An hour later they're STILL looking for our registration!!!! We got a call after 9:00pm to come by they found it under a desk somewhere. You take people's personal information out of their cars, stash it under a desk somewhere and get irritated and swear at the customer when YOU can't find it!?! So much for customer service!!! And there are signs everywhere "call the VP if you ever get crappy service". I'll go somewhere else thanks! More
