I live in coastal Maine it’s about an hour and 45 minutes away from me. I had to arrange for time off to go see the truck. Christie said that I could do almost everything online and that they could bring the truck half way to me lol! Then a guy on Christie’s phone called me when I was at work and said I would have to come up the whole way. Ok He wanted me to put down 500.to reserve the truck (refunded) if it didn’t work out. I didn’t feel ok with that,so I took a day off and went up. I am embarrassed for this but only had a trade that they reduced by 3,000 when I got there. My payoff was also more than I thought which was on me. I went through a lengthy process there and The salesman John said that I was approved.the salesman said that he had gotten me a lower interest rate and even a warranty deal.I asked if I could call my daughter and tell her that I was purchasing the truck and they said yes it’s yours. The finance guy said lets sign these papers and then….. He said he had me down as 6,700 down . He told me that John had given him the wrong papers. I had a pre approval from my credit union which he said was to high in interest and ran it through other banks and just ended up trying to get a higher amount from the credit union I had a approved amount with. I guess they were serious about that approval because they didn’t want to give this guy any more than what I said I could do I will end with saying,it’s incredibly embarrassing to work so hard and be made out to be less. I’m sure people with a lot of money have had great experiences, but as far as a blue collar worker is concerned it was a huge disappointment and a wasted day. More

It was a pleasure purchasing a new F350 Crew Cab Lariat from Rowe Ford Westbrook with Daniel Otieno's assistance. Sales Managers Eric Young & Danielle Devine showed an active interest as we worked through the deal while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. F&I Manager Liz Wallis presented all information in detail and answered all questions thoroughly. After the deal had been agreed to, Daniel realized that I had my Rottie in the vehicle with me. He immediately invited me to bring her in where she met staff nonstop while paperwork was being completed. It"s safe to say the dealership is dog friendly. The atmosphere at Rowe Ford Westbrook was professional and welcoming. Overall, it was the first rate experience I expected it to be. I highly recommend Daniel Otieno for any future vehicle purchases. Runey (sp??), the finance guy, also very helpful and I never felt under pressure to buy something I really didn't want, but helpful in making purchase decisions for things he knew I would need. Would recommend both these guys to anyone wanting an efficient and trustworthy car buying experience. Thanks, guys! More
