I live in Alaska and purchased a 2022 GMC Sierra from them. BAD IDEA!!!!!! I paid for a friend to fly to Portland to drive the vehicle to me in Alaska. I asked the finance guy and the salesperson to m them. BAD IDEA!!!!!! I paid for a friend to fly to Portland to drive the vehicle to me in Alaska. I asked the finance guy and the salesperson to make sure the paperwork was in the vehicle, as we did everything online, but the actual paperwork was needed to get through Canadian customs. There was no paperwork, my friend was turned away at the border and not allowed to enter Canada. I then had to pay over $3,000 to have it put on a barge and shipped to Alaska, I had to pay to change my friends airline ticket to fly out of Seattle, I had to pay for my friend to get a hotel room for the night because the shipping place was only open during business hours, I then had to pay $375 for the truck to be defueled because to travel on the barge it had to have a 1/4 tank or less, and an Uber to get him from the port in Tacoma to the Seattle airport. When I finally got the truck there were 3 nuts missing on the tires, the silver molding on the passenger mirror was missing, (these things were missing in the pictures the freight company took of the truck when they received it), the dash system reports the SD card is missing (which it is not), I have tried to remove it and put it back in but still pops up on my dash that the SD card missing. This is very annoying to have to dismiss every 10 minutes. I called the dealership and spoke to the salesperson, he said he would have the manager call me back, I have never gotten a call from the manager or anyone else. I had only had the truck in my possession for about 2 months, I was driving down the Seward highway heading to a wedding and when I got into the pass, (where there is no cell service), the dash reported "Engine oil hot" so I pulled over to check things out. First I checked the oil, there was oil in it but no where near full, you would think the dealership would have changed the oil prior to selling it, and since I didn't even put 300 miles on it yet it should not have been low on oil. I was stranded for over 4 hours on the side of the road. The truck was towed back to Anchorage the next day and after 10 days of sitting at Chevy of South Anchorage, I finally got a call from the service department saying the engine was seized and I would have to get a new one! DO NOT BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!! They obviously do not do the certified preowned inspection as promised. I did not finance the vehicle through them, I used my bank. More
