Thinking that I misunderstood, called finance to see what my up front maintenance upgrade contract included. Was told it would be mailed in a month. Was told it included for sure 6ea Oil/FilterTire Rotations but no filters or fluids. Would be some discount coupons for these but did not know what these specifically were. Would have to wait until they are mailed to me. The normal mileage required maintenance is spelled out in the Nissan Service and maintenance Guide booklet, and it specifically says on my paid advanced maintenance contract that 6 services (not just Oil/filter/tire rotation) are included. My soon upcoming 30,000 mile required service procedure states specifically what needs be done. I expect all of these items to be addressed and included as my 1st Service per my contract and documentation. My old lease contract also had a extra maintenance that I purchased with the lease which called out each item that is included. The new one specifically also states 6 services. Here what is stated on my contract: “Optional Maintainence Care Upgrade Service Plan Information. “See owners manusl for complete listing of full factory recommended services” “Number of Services - 6 Services” Page 26 - Nissan Service Maintainence Guide for service @ 30,000 miles Page 54 - items included in Maintenance Upgrade All fluids, Filters, etc. (9 items) I don’t think it can be any clearer what Service at 30,000 miles includes and needs to be done. My contracted advance maintenance payment for this service states 6 services. This will be my 1st service per my contract. Enough said. I rest my case.

Yes, I did have a meeting with Jerad today on 3/18/2019. We discussed the issues I have with the maintenance, pricing, and Platinum point usage. We were able to come to a somewhat reasonable settlement on the maintenance package issue. Jerad informed me that only the oil/filter (engine), and tire rotation is covered on used vehicles. With this in mind, in most cases, if I buy a used vehicle or do a lease buy out, it may be better to pay as you go and not pay extra for a very limited overpriced advanced maintenan6e package. One way to justify the cost would be to have your auto washed once/week (52 x $5= $260). I plan on doing so. Jerad was upfront and fair in getting the issue resolved. He had all the answers. The pricing issue was further explained. Even though I paid Russ Darrow for the vehicle, it was not considered a sale by Russ Darrow and all the monies, including the $300 buy out is recouped money that Russ Darrow has already been charged by the Nissan financing company. This still seems fishy to me, but I am done pursuing it further. I will opt out of the arbitration contract just in case. Since I was not actually buying an auto from Russ Darrow, the Platinum points could only be used on the next car I lease or purchase from Russ Darrow Nissan. Again the lease buy out does not count as a purchase. I will remember this and document it.
