Brakes were not lubricated at calipers and back brake rotors were shot- he showed them to me. Don't believe Russell and Smith's however many number of inspections they do before they sell it. Had my mechanic fix it because I didn't trust RandS to do it. Beware of this dealer! Definitely DO NOT recommend them!! More

Horrible Service Experience I had an absolutely terrible experience getting my minivan serviced a few months ago. After paying over $2,000 for repairs and returning it once beca I had an absolutely terrible experience getting my minivan serviced a few months ago. After paying over $2,000 for repairs and returning it once because they failed to fix the broken tail light, I then had to pay another $380 to replace shock absorbers that had been working perfectly before the "service." (According to my RS service advisor, shock absorbers sometimes "lock" when the car is put up on the lift?!?! I had never heard that before!) The service manager finally begrudgingly agreed to provide me a loaner car and charge me RS cost for the shock absorber repairs, but she could not have been ruder about it. Now that the weather is getting warmer, it is also apparent they damaged the A/C system when they replaced the Air Mix motor. I absolutely do not want to take my car back to Russell and Smith. In looking over the receipts as I get ready to take it in elsewhere to have the A/C looked at, I am realizing that what the service advisor wrote in the notes is not what I he told me over the phone. According to his notes, I declined multiple repairs when, in fact, I only declined one, and I only declined it because the service representative said it was something that could easily wait. I am not sure whether the service department at Russell and Smith is incompetent, dishonest, or both. When you are a mom driving an 10-year-old minivan, I think they assume they can take advantage. You need your vehicle as soon as you can get it, which makes you much less likely to argue and insist that everything be done the way it should. I know I will never go back to the service department. Nor will I look there when I buy a new car at the end of this year. More

Truth Seeking? I visit the dealership because it was recommended. to me from a list of other dealers. I chose this dealership based on the ratings. When I left the dealership I felt that I was ill treated and I told others I met how my experience ended. I will continue to shop for a vehicle from another dealership.. More

Avoid this dealership! I was referred by car pro radio show. I also was referred by Costco. I purchased a car there before & it's very close to my office. I waited 3 weeks to test drive a Honda Accord Touring model - they could never get one for me to even test-drive or look at! Unbelievable. I eventually went to the Honda Cars of Katy and Spring Branch Honda. I would recommend either of those. Their sales staff is much friendlier and attentive. I eventually bought a car from Spring Branch Honda. They truly worked to earn my business. Plus, their follow-up and their management staff truly wants you to be satisifed. More
