I want to start by saying that as soon as my wife and I entered the dealer, we felt welcome and without any pressure to buy a vehicle. John Huffman and Dino Varcados' support was simply great. At first, everything was going fine. He was helpful when we were looking at the car and helped located different colors. Once we went inside to talk the price, He had me and my dad waiting for 45 mins befor we were looking at the car and helped located different colors. When we told him that price is way too high for a based car with no option. He started getting very rude and started throwing some bs about how supply and demand is the reason why the price is so high then went to talk to his manager, which probably took another 30 mins or so, came back and said, 'There is no way we will ever do this price', started getting rude toward my dad and accused him of lying about the price we offer, which was quoted by another salesman at their place. I can't believe i wasted so much of my time, drove all the way from league city to talk to this idiot. When i got home from the dealership. I checked my email and found a quote from their saleman which was $127.68 less than my asking price for the car. Also,i qualified for the flex cash at the dealership, which was $500.I don't know who is more shady at this place, the manager(big boss) or salesman (Cryus Bahraini). At the end, Cryus told us that the reason why he couldn't do the price is because incentives have changed for that month but quoted price also came the same month. Very bad experience. More

Two days before going to Russell & Smith, I visited a dealer on 290 after negotiating a quote online. The problem was that it wasn't until they got me at their dealiership did they tell me the CRV I wan dealer on 290 after negotiating a quote online. The problem was that it wasn't until they got me at their dealiership did they tell me the CRV I wanted would not arrive for three weeks. That experience was irritating as I had to re-negotiate the email quote that we already agreed to all over again. Keeping that quote in mind, I solicited offers from all the other Houston-area Honda dealers. Danny's quote was among the most competitive for a car that was in-stock so I decided to follow up with him. Two phone calls later I was in his office hammering out a deal at 6:30 PM. The caliber of customer service that he provided exceeded all of my expectations as I was ready for another battle like the one I had with the dealer on 290. Danny was able to effectively balance my interests (getting the lowest price available) with that of his own (close the deal) in a manner that was neither off-putting or overly agressive. Danny and I were able to comfortably negotiate a drive-out price that I thought was fair. For anyone who is interested, he provided me with an itemized quote, and I did not pay for anything that I did not want. In fact, I asked for and received a car with no added options. Other dealers either did not have any in stock, or refused to negotiate on their dealer add-ons. This was not the case here at R&S as I knew what I was dealing with from the start. Danny is also very knowledgeable about the CRV, and showed me features that I was not aware of despite the fact that I had taken a test drive at the other dealer just two days earlier. I unfortunately did not get into the Finance office until 9:45 PM or so; Danny stuck around and waited for them to finish. Afterward, Danny stayed to go over all of the car's features one last time, and even offered to do another tutorial with my wife (who was not present) at a later date. I really appreciated him staying late to make sure I left comfortable and informed about the purchase that I just made. The one thing I made sure to do before I left was to get his card so that I can call him first the next time me or anyone I know is in the market for a new Honda. More
I moved recently to Houston, didn't know any place here. My friend took me to that dealer and let me talk to the same sales person she dealt with, that nice lady, Selam, she knew my request very fast here. Ian spent considerable time and was very thorough in showing us all of the CRV's accessories and amenities and making sure we were familiar with their operation before driving it off the lot. The financial manager was also very courteous and worked with us to obtain an outstanding finance rate. I would recommend this dealership and Ian Nylander when purchasing a new Honda automobile. More
