I should probably chalk this one up to the "should have known better" category, but I have never been treated so poorly by a dealership before . We had questions about the used car that we were looking at. I noticed a piece of trim that was missing. I was told that they didn't know why. We tried to negotiate the price of the car, but they didn't budge. If my daughter hadn't been in love with the car, I would have walked away. After washing the car about a week after the purchase, I noticed that the bumper cover was broken and that the missing trim was removed so that the bumper would sit on the car correctly and no one would be the wiser. It will cost about $700 to get it repaired. Also, I would have expected the dealer to have changed the oil and air filter before offering the vehicle for sale. I will not be recommending this dealer to anyone. Fool me once, shame on me.... Update - I was contacted by the General Sales Manager, Jack Carney. We discussed the issues involved with the car and how the sale was handled. He was very apologetic for the way the sale was handled and offered to pay some of the cost of repairing the bumper. He seems to be a first class person in the auto business. Thanks so much for your help. More

Other dealerships had some not-so-favorable reviews which made me leery of buying a car from them. Gerson was my main Internet Sales contact person and he did a great job. We were driving from out of town (3.5hours away) to purchase vehicle, so he was very flexible in understanding our time constraints, etc... once we decided to purchase the vehicle. Everything was very seamless once we arrived in town to do a quick test drive and complete the sale. I already went to the other Dealer for an appraisal value of my vehicle and to my surprise, RS Honda gave me a best appraisal/deal. That's the time I decided to go for a new vehicle but the color that I want was not available. I told them that I am not sure if my wife wants the color and it's already late at night. It was really nice of RS Honda to let me drive the new 2013 Odyssey. They told me to take the Van tonight and just bring it back tomorrow and let us know if my wife/kids like it or not. (They have made me feel very special to let me drive it that night) I went back the following day and told Ray that we prefer a different color. He told and assure me to come back later and I will have the color I want. Later that day he called me and said he have the color I want. I went back to the Dealer and fall in love again with the new EXL Odyssey. Ray work with me and negotiated back and forth to get the price that I want and we did. While waiting for the finance department, we went back to the Van and show me how stuff works. Ray Lee just seems to know everything and very professional. He made me feel one of a family member where you can trust and very comfortable talking with anything under the sun with no hustle. He does represent Russell and Smith Honda very well. At the finance department, It was really nice also of Chris Rodriguez to find me the best Interest rate and very honest. (Honest=Trust. Can't beat that). It didn't even seem that we are doing business In his office because most of the time we are laughing. He got a good sense of humor. I believe that if you make customer comfortable and you're honest, it is most likely that you will get our business and that's what Russell and Smith Honda did.
