Originally we went to Russell and Smith Honda to look at a different used vehicle, only to find out it was being sold right as we walked in! Finally we struck upon an amazing coincidence of a vehicle that was just recieved, had all the features we wanted, and offered at an unbelievable price! We were sold, and Ali and Roberto made it an easy and frankly delightful process. I heartily recommend these two and hope others will enjoy their courteous and honest service. More

After searching online for a Honda Pilot LX and visiting and speaking with several dealerships I found myself at Russell and Smith Honda. He then gave me the asking price on those vehicles! One of the dealerships on the list was one that I had already visited and had a horrible experience with. Mr. Huddleston never tried to push me into a different vehicle. He offered to show me the upgraded model of the Honda Pilot and then let me sit and crunch numbers in his office and speak with my husband over the phone several times without interrupting. When I was finally ready to consider purchasing the upgraded model Mr. Huddleston made me a deal that was still within my original budget for the LX! We then went to financing with Mr. Roberto Montemayor who was very respectable and presented me with all of the options for warranties, etc. and answered all of my questions and showed understanding at keeping me in my budget. My husband and I went with the Honda special financing offer but they were closed when we were in financing. The next day they called back and needed additional signatures and information and Roberto offered to drive out and meet me to get the paperwork done since the dealership is not close to my house. We were very grateful for this gesture, however, we made the trip to Russel and Smith to get the paperwork taken care of anyway. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! More

Russell and Smith Honda is by far the best Honda dealer in Houston, if not the best Houston dealer of ANY brand. I purchased a 2012 Odyssey EX here on 9-22-12. One of the best things about R&S is that they DO NOT add bogus items to their vehicles that jack up the selling price. Every other Honda dealer that I encountered in Houston does this as standard practice. One dealer in particular in the Katy area adds about $2000 worth of items like the Platinum Winshield Protection, Nitrogen filled tires, Lifetime Maintenance Plan, Paint and Fabric Protection, etc.) It's tough paying for things that you can't see. I was quoted a fair price via email from Ali Fard. I called to let him know I was on the way there. Upon my arrival, the exact vehicle that was quoted was waiting for me in a covered area next to the showroom. Mr. Fard gave me a complete and detailed demonstration of the vehicle and it's features followed by a sufficiently timed test drive. Upon committing to buy, I was also given a fair amount for my trade vehicle. There was no haggling over the new vehicle, trade vehicle or financing. I had applied for financing before coming to the dealer and was approved for Honda's promotional 0.9%. It's good to know this up front rather than waiting until getting into the finance office. Financing was handled by Roberto Montemayor. Although I did not purchase any additional warranties or coverages, Roberto showed me everything that was available and did not pressure me in any way when I declined. He is top notch. I was in and out in less than 2 hours on a Saturday afternoon. No gimmicks, no games, no tag team tactics. Everyone I encountered here was couteous and professional. This would now be my dealer of choice for a new Honda vehicle. I have purchased 45 vehicles in 26 years and this was by far the most pleasant experience I've ever had. Ali Fard is the best salesperson I've ever encountered. He knows his stuff and is a pleasure to deal with. My impression of Ali is that he doesn't sell you a car, he helps you buy a car. Ray Lee also contacted us with an offer and was willing to hold the car until we drove in from Austin. Even though a family wanted to purchase the same exact car and had been waiting for a bit, Ray and Steven held the car for us until we were able to look at it and take a test drive. We were floored by their trust and their ability to keep their word. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone.
