A truly wonderful buying experience! Earlier we had visited three other dealerships and received the usual treatment. On the recommendation of CarProShow.com, we contacted Russell and Smith Honda and m visited three other dealerships and received the usual treatment. On the recommendation of CarProShow.com, we contacted Russell and Smith Honda and made an appointment to visit with Andy Nguyen. When we arrived, he met us at the door and took us to his office. We told him what we were looking for and, in about five minutes, he gave us their price, which was within a few dollars of the price we had been prepared to negotiate hard to get. While our trade-in was being appraised, the General Manager stopped in to introduce himself and thank us for coming in (I’ve never had that happen before!). Andy then returned with the appraisal, which was right in line with what we had been prepared to negotiate hard to get. And, finally, he gave us the price of the 7-year HondaCare warranty, and it was priced right at what we thought was fair. We selected our vehicle and were done and out within 30 minutes. When we returned a week later to pick up our new vehicle, we worked with Ami Tran on the “paperwork.” She was personable, professional, and even volunteered to tell us how to request a refund on the unused portion of the extended care warranty on our trade in. Then, Andy called us twice the day we took delivery just to follow-up and ensure everything was perfect. Thank you CarProShow.com and Russell and Smith Honda. I gave Russell & Smith Honda a 5 rating only because there isn't a 5+ or 6 rating! This is the third vehicle that we've purchased from them, and each time the process is better than the last. Ian Nylander is our salesman, and I've decided that I will never buy a vehicle from anyone else. Ian is not really a salesman, he's a facilitator. He's smart in that he lets the vehicle sell itself. He doesn't push or badger. He finds out what you want and shows it to you, answers questions and provides assistance as needed. Our most recent purchase was made out of necessity - our 2-yr old Pilot sustained significant damage in a recent storm and was declared a total loss by insurance. One call to Ian and he had a replacement vehicle for us, an outstanding price, and 0.9% financing. My husband and I drove to the dealership, and 45 minutes later were driving out in our 2012 Pilot. Ian and Amy Tran had all of the paperwork ready, and didn't push to sell us any additional bells and whistles that we didn't want and wouldn't have purchased. I couldn't recommend a dealership any more than I do Russell & Smith Honda! More

Contacted the dealership via the instant messenger. I got Andy's number and called Houston. Told him I would be traveling 140 miles to come down and look at a car, asked if they had inventory of 2012 Accord, Andy's number and called Houston. I liked that he didn't ask me for a phone number, address or what I wanted to spend. He didn't ask for any other personal information, wasn't pushy. I liked that a lot. We traveled down the next day. Got there around 2:45 p.m. We met Andy and he showed us several different cars. We decided to get the accord with the navigation since they open to working on the price. I don't buy based on payment and told him as much. We sat down and looked at the numbers. Not sure since it was 12/31, but they came off the sticker price a good bit. We went back and forth on the trade in. I probably should have pushed back more but I can't complain on the trade in. It was 11 years old with 159K plus miles. Santos worked really well with us in the finance. Janet also was very helpful with some title issues on my wife's trade in. I will warm you though to watch the extended warranty if you get it. On the paperwork it was $300 more than it should have been. But Santos fixed it and I chewed on Andy's rear end about that. Fred Laber and Andy spent probably 30 minutes showing my wife all the toys and how they worked. By 7 p.m. we were on the road home. It has been 10 years since I bought a new vehicle. Overall the experience was very good. I busted Andy's rear as much as I could and he was a good guy with all of it. I have no problem recommending these guys to anyone. More

The Salesperson, Jon Moore, Finance Manager, Ami Tran, Finance Director Janet Cousins and General Sales Manager, Jack Carney, General Sales manager all demonstrated quality customer service. It was evident that the Finance Director had over 30 years of experience that added to an effective financial presentation and agreement. Each person spent quality time with me and made every effort to answer all of my questions and address any concerns. I appreciated the effort of Jack, as the General Sales Manager to acknowledge me as a customer and ask how I was feeling about my experience during the process. I was presented with options to address unique issues that included a thorough explanation allowing me to make an informed choice. I have received multiple follow-up e-mails to confirm that I was pleased with the experience with encouragement to ask any additional questions. As a college level professor who emphasizes the value of customer service to students I will use my personal experience to enhance the learning environment for students across the nation. Within five minutes of talking to Mr. Fred Leber, he had provided a sales price so amazing my local d service on the purchase of my new Honda Pilot. Since I am from Alexandria, Louisiana, I flew to Houston and Fred met me at the airport. We drove to the dealership and completed the purchase in a very short time.
