R&S also provided written confirmation of their offer and honored my request to consider the deal overnight with no change to the R&S offer. The next day after accepting the R&S new vehicle offer I presented my used vehicle as a trade in. The used car reviewer/assessor evaluated my car as I did - meaning we both agreed, independently, to its condition. Again I was well prepared with market information. Clearly there is no substitute for being prepared in advance of any major purchase. Give-and-take discussions between me and Ray Huddleston were polite, candid and truthful. My husband and I were initially going to buy from another dealership. This other dealership did not have the car in the color we wanted & the price was not right. They have a good selection of new cars which is what we were looking for. Our sales consultant was Gilton and he did and excellent job. He was very knowledgeable on the Honda Accords and explained everything to us very thoroughly. We also met with Ami, the finance manager. She was very upbeat, friendly, and also very knowledgeable about financing & warranties. We bought a 2010 Honda Accord EX L V6 with navigation and we left there feeling totally satisfied and like we had made an excellent decision. I stubbleed on the Russell and Smith Dealer why car shopping and my was I pleasantly surprised. They had a wide selection of used hondas.
