It has been a few years since my last car purchase, and to tell you the truth I was not looking forward to the “Battle” and I bet I am not the only one that feels that way. He referred me to Russell & Smith and to Ian Nylander specifically. My first contact was with David Weingartner and I could not have been treated nicer. Once I met with Ian the experience continued as he treated me with respect and true concern for what my needs were. Ian and David both listened intensively and answered all my questions honestly and straightforwardly. They both gave me the time, and attention that I needed to feel that I had the information necessary to make the right choices. Once I had the information I was not put under pressure to make the decision, (On The Spot), but was allowed to leave, (with a warm hand shake) and think it through. Once the decision was made I met with Mr. Shah, the finance manager, and again was treated with kindness and respect---Thank you Mr. Shah. The delivery of the car was just as pleasant---I was not rushed out the door---you know that feeling of, “you’ve signing on the dotted line, now get out!”, instead time was taken to explain all the features of the car even though it is very hot weather that day, I was not rushed! My husband and have been searching for an Odyssey for 7 looooong weeks and Ray was able to locate the only 2 left in the State of TX in our Color and with the options that we wanted. ALL and I mean ALL the other Dealerships in the Houston area have tried to scam us in one way or another and we just wouldn't fall far it. McDavid Honda of Houston did the switch and bait thing, tried to charge us twice for the destination fee. Goodson wanted to charge us MSRP because of the clunkers program and plus a lot of the dealerships around here have major attitudes. Ray located a van for us in San Antonio at Gilman San Antonio, it was smooth as ice cream, no scams, no gimmicks and no ad ons. Kudos to Ray!!
