I went to Rusty to get my oil changed. My hood latch had been loose for a while and I told them it was hard to open and I should do it. they said it was fine. When I got home and checked, I found my hood la been loose for a while and I told them it was hard to open and I should do it. they said it was fine. When I got home and checked, I found my hood latch had been broken off and put back together with zip ties. It also had immediately broken upon opening, so my car was stuck at home with a hood that wouldn't close. More
I recently purchased a new Honda accord from Rusty Wallace Honda and they gave me the best deal with the least amount of time trying to work me on numbers. Told them what I wanted and what I expected Wallace Honda and they gave me the best deal with the least amount of time trying to work me on numbers. Told them what I wanted and what I expected to pay and they made it work. Definitely one of the best car buying experiences I have had. More
Bought used 2001 Civic Honda believing the salesman when he vouched that he would put his grandaughter in it. Thought it just had a few problems, but upon further checking by own mechanic this vehicle had b he vouched that he would put his grandaughter in it. Thought it just had a few problems, but upon further checking by own mechanic this vehicle had been put on the lot for resale with the driver side window held in place with ties. There was no motor inside the driver side door to work the window or the lock. It also didnt come with a stereo, so when we were able to afford to put one in we found out that the speakers were either blown or had a short in them. When I called to talk to the General Mgr he very rudely told me that there was nothing he could do for me. He stated that it had passed the safety test and therefore deemed fine for resale. Even though I let him know that upon several instances (whether due to the problems with the door or security system)the battery would not stay charged and had already had to be replaced. I will not ever buy another new or used vehicle from this dealership nor would I recommend anyone else to deal with them. More
I went to Rusty Wallace looking to trade a new car in to get something used and a little cheaper, and I had a budget of $19K. I was only at the dealership for about 30 minutes, and this included a test driv get something used and a little cheaper, and I had a budget of $19K. I was only at the dealership for about 30 minutes, and this included a test drive. I left with nothing, and I was not happy about my experience. The sales person I was stuck with was not that informed on any of the vehicles he was trying to show me, and he was asking me to choose a car based on color. Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean I don't know anything about cars or how to shop for the right car for myself. Color is the last thing I care about when I'm looking for a quality vehicle. I was very disappointed that the sales person only showed me one car that wouldn't even work for me, and he told me I couldn't get into a car unless it was $12K or less. Well, I ended up buying a car at the Airport Honda (I highly recommend Airport Honda to everyone!) and was easily able to purchase a car for about $18K that was newer and nicer than what I was shown at Rusty Wallace. Maybe other people have great expereiences at Rusty Wallace, but mine was disappointing to say the least. More
