I purchased an 04 Civic in October 2012; it took HOURS of negotiating the price from 10k to 8700, which was still over bluebook used car price. (I got them down to 9400, and couldn't get them any lower, unti negotiating the price from 10k to 8700, which was still over bluebook used car price. (I got them down to 9400, and couldn't get them any lower, until I told them I was leaving... then suddenly, they could drop the price more). The car was missing the cover to window washer fluid (which they would replace), needed a new key fob (which they would replace), the trunk liner was warped (wouldn't replace) because the trunk seals were damaged (would replace). I drove the car home to discover that both driver and passenger side locks kept sticking with the key (I was still waiting for the key fob), and wouldn't lock or unlock without 15 minutes of struggling. Then the truck latch stopped working. I called them, ended up taking the car in twice to fix everything (I live in Fort Worth -so its a bit of a drive). But everything was finally fixed. When I picked up the car, I was in a hurry, because I had to go to the airport. When I got into my car, I realized that the seatbelt had been unbolted, and had not been rebolted! After they fixed this, I left. I took my car to my mechanic on 12/14 for an oil change, to replace one of my headlight bulbs, and to replace the brake pads. (I've had the car 3 months - shouldn't they have done this before selling to me?) My mechanic called me out to show me that I had oil leaking from my cam shaft. He said that it had been leaking for 'quite some time'. . .I mentioned that the car was purchased in October, and he said it's been leaking 'definitely longer than that.' So, basically my car, which I paid too much $ for, did not have any of the basic work that should have been done before re-selling a car (brakes, making sure locks and trunk worked, cam shaft leaking). They didn't disclose ANY of the problems with the car to me. For the life of me, I can't figure how buying from Rusty Wallis Honda was any better than buying from any of the MANY used car places with cheaper cars 5 minutes away. (The day I bought this car, I was quoted at another dealership on a 05 Honda Civic in better physical condition for less than I paid for this car - I went with Rusty Wallis because I trusted Rusty Wallis' reputation). I have good to excellent credit. I gave them a 3000 down payment. I kinda feel like they saw a woman, buying a car alone, and took advantage of me. I'd like to give Rusty Wallis a chance to change my perception of my experience. For a small amount more, I probably would have been better off buying a brand new car, rather than dealing with all of the problems of this used car, which wasn't serviced correctly before sale, was overpriced, and with issues that weren't disclosed to me at time of sale (brakes, problems with locks and trunk and leaking cam shaft.), and having to drive back and forth to Dallas from Fort Worth to resolve these issues. Update: So, March 17th, I was on my way to dinner, and my brakes failed on the highway! I managed to get the car off the road and parked. Every time I barely touched the gas, the car would surge forward. When I pumped the brakes, sometimes there would be pressure, and brakes would work, sometimes no pressure, and the brake pedal would go all the way down to the floorboard. Furious!!!!! I could have died! So, I had my car towed in - my ex-tended warranty required me to have it towed to Rusty Wallis. They say that they can't find anything wrong and couldn't replicate the issue. I ended up getting into an argument over the phone with Mike Anderson, where he ended up talking over me and basically telling me that it was a 'used car' and 'used cars have problems', and that the price I paid for this POS was not his problem. Today, i finally get a call back, and they're offering 5000k trade in... (I owe 8500) which would leave me in the hole. More
I can't speak highly enough about the staff at Rusty Wallis Honda. No high-pressure sales, no hype or hustle, just helpful professionals who are there to assist the customer. As someone who has bought c Wallis Honda. No high-pressure sales, no hype or hustle, just helpful professionals who are there to assist the customer. As someone who has bought cars over many years I can honestly say that this dealership is one of the few who makes it painless and is truly customer-centered! It was my first time to buy a new car. I had no experience to bargain with dealers and didn't want to spend too much time on this. I checked on line to find a best rated Honda dealer and I got Rust experience to bargain with dealers and didn't want to spend too much time on this. I checked on line to find a best rated Honda dealer and I got Rusty Wallis. I was not very happy the first visit. They asked me to promise to buy one by telling me I would get a good price but not real price. Stewart kept calling me after I left and asked me to visit him again. He helped me to make the decision to buy a good car at affordable price but not a cheap price for a not so good car. He is really helpful. I would recommend him and Rusty Wallis to my friend. Rusty Wallis does not ask a ridiculous price and the salesperson are so willing to help. More
We were going to pick up our Honda Odyssey from the service department (recall service). My wife wanted to look at the Civics because she had seen one on the internet. We stopped and Jimmey helped us service department (recall service). My wife wanted to look at the Civics because she had seen one on the internet. We stopped and Jimmey helped us look at a couple of them. I really wasn't sure about it. Jimmey spent time with us and helped us move things along. We chose one and purchased it. Jimmey even drove the vehicle to our house since we were now 3 vehicles with only 2 drivers. The only issue I have has nothing to do with the people there. It is the system - banks - loan situation. I hear all the commercials about $259 down and $259 a month and we don't ever get that deal. Credit not great. BUT, to me, that should mean we get lower payments. Instead we pay way more/month over a longer period for a pre-owned car. :( More
Our visit to the dealership was completely unplanned. My husband and I had been comparing the 2013 Toyota Avalon and the 2013 Honda Accord for a couple of months. Earlier in the evening we stopped by a Toyo husband and I had been comparing the 2013 Toyota Avalon and the 2013 Honda Accord for a couple of months. Earlier in the evening we stopped by a Toyota dealership just to look at the vehicle in person. After that my husband said let's just go see what Honda has to offer. When we arrived at the dealership, we were greeted by Robert. He was was great to work with. Usually I dread buying cars; but Robert never pressured us. He answered our questions and showed us the various styles of 2013 Honda Accord. Once we were sold on the Touring edition, Robert made us aware of an even better deal. Robert made the experience pleasant. Working with Amir in financing was so efficient and quick. Basically we arrived about 7p on Tuesday and after 9p we were driving out of the dealership with a 2013 Honda Accord. I would definitely recommend Rusty Wallis as the place to go. More

We agreed upon a price and he made sure that I got the car at the said price. Also when at the dealership, Ronnie was able to answer my question about the Car. My previous experience with Rusty Wallis was very good in 2009, which is why I came back again when it was time to purchase the next car. In the meantime, I also took my CRV there for body work after an acci 2009, which is why I came back again when it was time to purchase the next car. In the meantime, I also took my CRV there for body work after an accident. So they HAD a loyal long-term customer. Internet shopper beware, whatever quote you get over the phone is totally meaningless. Rusty Wallis will add on a bunch of stuff to the car which will be priced at 5-10 times the retail cost if purchased separately and then try to get you to pay for it when you show up to pick up the car. They will not tell you this when you ask for the quote of course. I told them the only add-on I wanted was window tinting, but the car showed up with an extra $2500 tacked on for a bunch of nonsense that was really worth a fraction of that. For example $299 for wheel locks which you can buy from honda.com for $55. So when I showed up to get the car I was forced to do very thing I was trying to avoid by internet shopping: haggling with the sales guy. So congrats Mitch & Chris on squeezing a few more dollars out of me with your tactics. You won't get the opportunity again. I know Rusty is not the only Honda dealer in town that has started to resort to these tactics to lessen the power that internet shopping gives the consumer. But they should be aware that the internet also gives the consumer the power to make other would be-customers aware of what is going on and so this will catch up to them eventually. More
This is the third car my husband and I have purchased from Rusty Wallace. Each experience has been pleasant. I hate buying cars, but the people at Rusty Wallace make it a painless experience. This is from Rusty Wallace. Each experience has been pleasant. I hate buying cars, but the people at Rusty Wallace make it a painless experience. This is the second Honda Accord I've bought from Bernard Williams. He's awesome and super patient! This is the second Honda that Amir has assisted with the financing. He's great too! This is a great place to buy your car. Three hours later my husband was driving off in a 2010 Honda Accord with a big smile on his face. Thank you Rusty Wallace for another great buying experience. I recently purchased an 2010 Acura TL from Rusty Wallis Honda, I have purchased over 10 cars in my lifetime and this was by far the fastest, most pleasant experience that I have ever had!! Jeremiah Torbers Honda, I have purchased over 10 cars in my lifetime and this was by far the fastest, most pleasant experience that I have ever had!! Jeremiah Torberson, was the salesman that I had the pleasure of working with. He was very knowledgable and friendly. The "No pressure" sales approach is always the right approach with me! He gave me the best price they could offer right from the start. Having done my homework before even looking for a car, I knew he was right. Thanks again, and I am REALLY enjoying my new car! More
