Initially I visited 5 different dealers (not all Honda) looking for the right car. After looking at various vehicles and dealers, I felt the best vehicle and dealer was Rusty Wallis Honda. While my salesman, Ronnie Taylor, was hands down the best car salesman I have EVER worked with, my experience with the finance department off set all the positive things I could say about Ronnie. From the first contact via internet to personal and telephone meetings to the final review of various operations of the Accord, so my w would be a 5. From the first contact via internet to personal and telephone meetings to the final review of various operations of the Accord, so my wife would feel comfortable on her first time behind its wheel, John was professional, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle we wished to buy. However, when it came to the finance end, we felt like we walked into a dark hole. While Chris & Syed were friendly and pleasant enough, the use of a formula into which they could only plug in certain figures was confusing. Had we reviewed each line before completing the sale, we would have felt better about the process. Example- We thought we were buying the depreciation and amortized amounts(sales tax & license). Then on the final billing is the item rent charge(explained as amount charged in addition to the depreciation and any amortized amounts) This item was not talked about in our meeting, and appears to be either additional dealer profit or an error in computation since it was so high. Had I read the printout more closely, I would have questioned the number. Next time I walk into a dealer,I will be better prepared to understand the jargon they use. More
